I picked the motel for the price and was generally satisfied. The noise level is a bit on the high side (very close to a major highway). The property is not new and it shows, but it was generally clean (tho' I wondered how carefully the ones who took care of the room after the prior guest had been -- there was beer left in the small refrigerator and the two tissue dispensers had not been refilled). The breakfast was solid. One thing I would change is the lighting on the front sign. The property shares an entrance with another motel and the other property's sign is brightly lit and the Ramanda's not well lighted at all. In fact, I drove past the entrance thinking it was only for the other motel.

Do not stay here. Go someplace else. It was cheap, $86. But looking back I think that was too much for what we got. Mold in the bathroom, leftover aspirin bottle from previous guest on counter top, smoke detector hanging from ceiling, drowsy employee sleeping in breakfast room at 6:30 in the morning when we walked in. Towel on the floor in the breakfast room sopping up something wet. Drowsy employee acknowledged us when we walked in but continued to doze off and sleep at a table in the breakfast room while we tried to eat breakfast and ignore her. Awkward. At some point she even put her head on the table. Just don't do it! Go somewhere else.

The smoke alarm kept going off; dead battery. Moved to the room next door and still heard the alarm until it was disassembled at 12:00 am. Cold water running in the next room

Nice hotel, clean, easy to find and a pretty decent breakfast buffet

This place is not up to business standards despite the price. It's basically a re-branded motel. Pool and hot tub were cold. But the free breakfast is same as what you'd get at a Comfort Inn or comparable. Good enough but barely.

This was an older motel that they have remodeled. It's not a bad place to stay... but don't expect a modern facility. For example the doors open to the outside like an old Motel. The rooms have been remodeled... bathrooms were big and the room size was bigger than I expected. Bed was comfy, breakfast was free and plentiful. Location was central but there was nothing within walking distance. we stayed here overnight after flying to SFO from Europe on our way home to Maui... so it was a great place to sleep and get breakfast before our flight out of SJC the next morning.

It was fine, ordinary. Clean, nice staff. Decent after a contract job. It wasn't walking distance from anything, so hard to get food.

I normally don't pick places of sort, but had was going to concert Saturday night, and thought it would be best/safer to get a room vs. drive back to Marin. This place is 80's, no doubt. But it's about a mile from The Shoreline, and most affordable in the area. We requested a room in the back, off the freeway and the front desk person gladly accommodated that. Basic room, nothing above average, but it was clean, stocked with towels to take advantage of the renovated spa/pool, and the breakfast buffet way well worth the one short stay. I might look for other places in the area had I had more time, but a clean room, pool, and close to The Shoreline booking on short notice, I have to say it was do'a'ble...

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. After seeing a concert at the Shorline, we just needed a decent place to crash. The hotel staff was kind and accommodating. The room, while a bit dated, was very clean and comfortable. It's not in the best location (right by the freeway), but is definitely not sketchy. For the price, it was perfect and I would definitely reccomend staying here.

We were in town to attend our son's graduation from Stanford and this hotel was close to campus and our son's apartment. We rented a room with a king bed (very comfy). Although the room was small and very basic (no closet but hanging rack provided, and only one chest holding an HD TV with one drawer available to store clothes), it was spotless. I could see the pool from my room and it was small but also very clean. The hotel has a minitaure exercise room with one bicycle, one treadmill and a bench with a small selection of dumbbells. No one else was there when I went in to use it so I didn't mind the small space. The room fee includes a plentiful 'do-it-yourself' breakfast which I didn't expect: fruits (bananas, oranges, pears, apples), at least three different cereals, three kinds of bagels, croissant, cream cheese, preserves, toast, waffles, prepared eggs, fried sausage, packaged oatmeal, milk, tea, coffee, cream, sugar, orange juice, even cranberry juice on one of the days we were there. We pretty much used the hotel to sleep so barely spent any time in it to notice the outdated decor and lack of room amenities, so we were satisfied with our stay. If you want to stay in a quiet area in an expensive neighborhood in a no-frills, cheaper priced hotel in a good location, then you will be happy with your stay in this place.

Booked this place for its location. It was in need of maintenance. A power outlet was dangerously loose, bathroom exhaust fan super loud , and the carpet was torn up.

Exactly the kind of good-value, quiet and comfortable place needed for a quick stop-over in Mountain View.

Nothing great but nothing bad either. Internet was reasonably fast except during prime time when the hotel is full. Bed was too soft but there were plenty of pillows. There was an accessible outlet so I didn't have to unplug the clock to charge my phone.

Great time! Decent location. Right off the freeway 101 and close to google hq

Very good for the price. No complaints. Everything you need for a one night stay.

It's right near the highway, so expect it to be loud. The beds weren't very comfortable, and it was your standard 2-star hotel in terms of cleanliness/amenities. However, it is conveniently located so it's easy to get to nearby places. It's also very affordably priced.

breakfist was great clean rooms staff was nice location was easy to find

the hotel was clean and full, left little room for parking. overall it was nice.

Outside of hotel looked descent. I checked in with no problem. My friend and I went to the room it was dirty. Beer cans everywhere and no linens on the beds! Went back to the front desk and got a new room. In the new room the sheets looked dirty due to stains. I will never go back again.

I was not impressed...I've stayed at other hotels in the same price range and was much happier. First of all, when we arrived I requested a first floor room because we were traveling with children and had a lot of luggage. I was told that those were all booked so we were given a second level room...strike one. Second, when we parked and starting off loading our vehicle, the room directly under us, had their door wide open and it looked like someone lived there and to be very honest creeped me out a little because we thought..."if there are a lot of rooms like these, well, I don't know that we want to be here with children...strike 2. The carpet looked very dirty and there was hair on the counter behind the hotel toiletries...strike 3! To top it all off, the water temperature kept going from hot to cold while we were showering...definitely not good when you have kids. Later I find out that a family member that arrived a few hours later than we did, requested a lower level room and got it! The only reason we didn't request to change rooms was because it would have been more of a hassle to back up all of our stuff, drag it down the stairs, and into another room! We were only going to use the room for sleeping and showering in the morning so we dealt with it. Plus,it was a few blocks away from family we were visiting in military housing so the location was perfect. Oh, the complimentary breakfast, well it was complimentary! Cereal, waffles, bagels (tiny ones), orange juice, ham and eggs...It was helpful since we needed to leave quickly and with there being nothing close by I was able to feed my boys a little something before heading out for the day.
