Had ok experience. Water in the shower was getting clogged

Visited for a concert. The venue was next to the hotel. Great location for those who don't want to drive everywhere. Their breakfast is also satisfying.

Close to SAP center. Parking close. I got for a very good rate for area. Room very nice and clean

The place was really great. Loved the large room and how it was laid out, will be staying again.

Run down hotel. Poor dining options other than breakfast. No room service. Room climate control old wall unit barely worked. Bathroom old moldy

Heater wouldn't work. View of downtown had a "gorgeous" view of a couple parking lots. Though to the left was the skyline which was ok. Parking was not free even after dropping over $300 for one night. TV had half standard definition channels. Bathroom was small. Room was spacious though. Also, don't eat lunch there. Spent $14 for salad and soup that appeared to be appetizers. Staff was very nice though.

Here is my list of grievances: 1. THERE WAS FRESH URINE ON MY TOILET when I entered the suite. This is unacceptable. I would have complained but it was 1AM and I was tired from a long drive so I just went to sleep. 2. When I arrived there were dirty dishes sitting on the floor next the entrance of my suite (right outside the door). I thought to myself "I guess they haven't gotten around to cleaning this up" so I'll be patient. 48 hrs later the dirty dishes were still there. I'm guessing the previous guest left them outside the suite and no one in this hotel cares about cleaning stuff up. BTW, when I checked out the dirty dishes were still there (it was a 2 night stay). 3. My bed sheets were soiled. I noticed this when I did a once over of the room just before checking out. 4. The carpet is stained. I guess this doesn't really matter so long as its clean but given the list of the aforementioned items I'm guessing that is not the case here. 5. The elevator on the way up to my suite was filthy. 6. The mini fridge in my suite was non-functional. I don't really care about this but its just a good indicator about how much the hotel cares about its customers or about the minor details. The list goes on and on. Do yourself a favor; pay a few extra dollars get the Hilton which is across the street. You'll thank me when you get home healthy without mites on your person and cockroaches in your luggage.

I consider this trip as a FAIL for both Orbitz and Hyatt. Imagine my surprise to arrive at the hotel and find out not only was there no pool (there are Hyatt's that don't have a pool?!) there was a non refundable pet fee of $75. Add that onto the ridiculous $25 parking fee and suddenly it's not such a good deal after all. Won't be using Orbitz again.

Included breakfast is a good benefit. The hotel has a good location and helpful staff.

Great stay. The elevators were extremely slow. Beside the elevators everything was awesome.

Chris check very friendly and helpful. Gave us map for downtown. Room very clean nice view city lights. Very close Christmas in Park worth seeing. Only downside was parking fee was twenty four Great breakfast in morning

Though the hotel is close to the lightrail tracks and airport, the amenities made up for it.

Awesome time great views..was there for a funeral..

The location, staff, and rooms are first rate. I like that my room was large and had a couch to sit and watch TV. The TV, desk, and EiFi access were excellent.. The price is bit higher than I expect for this type of hotel. The gym is simply adequate to get a workout. It is basically a small room with some exercise equipment thrown in.

I went to San Jose for my Daughter's volleyball tournament Great location across the street from the Convention Center. Great Continental breakfast for the picky eaters a little bit of everything:)

This hotel was great met all of our needs, rooms were larger than I thought and extremely clean. The staff was very kind and accommodating to whatever we needed. I will be staying here again!

Good location, room clean, and good service. From this Hotel you can go to San Francisco, and you can go to Monterrey...

Updating in progress! Terrific location, friendly and helpful staff with simple amenities. The Hyatt Place San Jose is within walking distance of the SAP center, which makes for a convenient and comfortable getaway when you're in town for a concert. Clean and spotless room, comfortable bed and efficient, but smallish bathroom. Nice breakfast, which added value, but still overpriced at $269 a night. Take $50 off that price, and I'd stay there anytime I head to the SAP for another great show.

I stayed here for one night while doing a tour. It is a nice hotel- the only thing it lacks is room service. They do have food available 24/7, but you have to go and get it. It's still not a bad deal. The staff was great, from the front desk to the bar to the restaurant. The bed is average, but the rooms are spacious. It had a King size bed. Bathroom was a little small but the rest of the room made up for it. I would stay here again. It's downtown in a nice area. The breakfast that is included is good; eggs, breads, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, and more. The only thing it didn't like was the $22 parking, but that is to be expected at most downtown hotels. It doesn't reflect the hotel or staff which I liked.

We booked this because we wanted a lounge in the Hotel and close to (walking distance ) HP Pavillion for some Sharks games. Both were good , the bartenders were cool and hotel staff very helpful and the walks to the Shark games were easy. Right behind hotel was the Tech museum witch had some cool stuff in it for kids and adults . For the price of the room it should have come with a microwave . Had to ask at the front desk for one and they got one for us. The TVs are not compatible with personal movie/game players . At time to leave I was caught off guard w/room taxes and parking witch added around $100 extra to the three night stay , so be aware . All in all room/hotel was nice but just a little irked by overall price @ end of stay.
