What really stands out for me on this trip is the customer service. One morning I was using the hotels Wi-Fi and a survey popped up. I usually don't do surveys but I had just finished using the sink in our room and noticed some things that weren't working, so I mentioned it. I really wasn't expecting a response but later that day (early afternoon) someone came by to fix it. I was completely amazed and very appreciative that I was listened to

Was given keycard, took stairs to second floor room. Hall had musty, unpleasant smell, almost sewage-like. Opened door and walked into something resembling a poorly executed basement remodel. The room had horrible, dim yellow lighting, so I opened the curtains to let in natural light, and there appeared the light-well view— see accompanying photo. The room’s window was located on the bottom of a 4 story shaft. Couldn’t decide if the “natural light” was better or worse than the artificial light. Decided both were unacceptable, and that accompanied by the unpleasant smell was enough for me to leave the hotel and ask request a refund. The desk person was clearly irritated that I wanted a refund. To his “credit” he told me he had better rooms that he could switch me to. I asked why on earth he would send me to that room if he had better rooms available. That room shouldn’t be offered to anyone unless all other rooms had been filled, and then I would suggest that they view the room before checking in. This was merely pawning off the dregs to see if they could get away with it. I left with the assurance from the front desk that my card would not be charged. So of course I was surprised to review my bank statement and find that I had indeed been charged. I called and was told that no one was on duty that could refund the charge, but was assured that resolving my claim would be a priority. No return call, so I called again the next day. Was assured by manager that credit would po

Small rooms; nothing special. Nice Libby and close to center

I enjoyed staying hotel. What I didn't like is that I had to pay so much parking for each day. Also you CAN'T pay your bill with cash! You can't pay for the room when you check out only when you check in!

In town for NCAA Regional. Three day stay. Breakfast every day at attached restaurant as part of stay. Enjoyable.

Minor problem with room, quickly remedied. Breakfast was good.

Comfortable bed, love the pillows! Great downtown location.

Nice location! The hotel was a bit old but that's ok.

Great location. Our 2nd time visiting. Will be back when Sharks play. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent rooms. Some street noise from light rail but LR is very convenient. Grocery store one block. Original Joes resturant, one of the best, less then one block.

Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful location by good restaurants, movie theater and museums. Very comfortable room. Good mattress and a great desk to work from. View could be better.

Convenient location downtown... very comfortable bed... room furniture a bit dated... friendly staff.... some noise from streetcars in the morning.... but overall very comfortable stay

The hotel was wonderful. I enjoyed the staff and hospitality, as well as the cleanliness of the hotel. I will definitely be back soon.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were small but cozy. What I didn't like was that the hotel charged fro every single thing. I understand if there is charges here and there but paying 25 dollar parking for day didn't cut it for me. I wish there was more perks like in other hotels such as Holiday Inn or Hyatt. What i loved was the location, it was right in the heart of downtown and had access to restaurants closed by. I didn't have to drive around too much.

Went to concert in the park, wanted enjoy walking instead of driving. The hotel was the perfect location. Our experience at the hotel was great. Would defiantly recommend

We just needed a room for one night in order to walk to a San Jose State University event. It was conveniently located and we liked the room. The free water bottles were much appreciated! The person at the front desk was very courteous and professional. It was a good experience.

The room was ok for the value but room is too small

I was warmly welcomed by the Front Desk. The downtown location is surrounded by great dining choices and the art museum all within walking distance. The room was cozy, clean and modern and the bed was comfortable.

This was an ok hotel. It's was nothing spectacular.

Decided to reserve this hotel in order to spend my 25th birthday in downtown. Minus the fact that I still had to pay for parking, the hotel and the stay were great.
