    Location great, poor staff

    The staff is really inadequate for this job. They constantly seem to be ignoring what is happening and why; and couldn´t care less about improving the hosts´ experience. The cleaning crew is good but there is no clear instruction on how to make them to clean the rooms.

    This was our second time staying there and they had upgraded the bathrooms since last time; they were fully enclosed this time versus partial last time. We go there to relax and not have a pool and other amenities because we have the ocean. It is set back far enough so you don't interact or feel people are walking by you. The restaurant was much better this time than last. I just wished they cleaned the trash up in the back behind the rooms outside so you feel like it is inhabited. There is not a lot but it would not take a lot of time to do.

    Would not recommend due to staff

    Great venue, nice and handy to the wharf. What let this place down was the attitude of the guy in the red shirt (presumably the manager) His attitude was appalling, there was no internet for the three nights I was there. When I complained about this on the first day he just pointed at the sky and said it would be fixed the next day. The bar and restaurants around this establishment all had working WiFi. This went on for three days, including power cuts of which I duly complained daily. This guys attitude was appalling as he considered it funny. He was more interested in looking after the Chinese day tourists who turned up daily by boat to have lunch at the resort, as opposed to looking after his booked in guests comforts. I have been in the service industry for some 20 years now and his attitude was unacceptable. Quite frankly if I was his employer, he would have been sacked a long time ago.

    Bad check in - rest was good

    The hotels on the islands should provide more information on what boat service to book with in order to get dropped off as close to their facility as possible. I asked at least 3 different ferry companies before going with speed ferry cambodia which dropped me off a few docks away from the hotel. I had to walk in the sun with a 50lb luggage bag which was pretty irritating and then when I got to the check in counter no one showed up for about half an hour. After that everything else at the hotel was great. Relatively clean and comfortable, good for the price.
