Well maintained hotel with everything you need for an extensive stay. Quiet street, quiet room, beautiful crisp sheets. The hotel staff could not have been nicer. When I inquired about how trash was emptied, they said "just ask". And they pulled my trash every day. Wi if was powerful enough to work and stream movies.
Greay family owned and operated place. Very Military friendly. We were shipping a car to Hawaii and the owner let us leave the car at the hotel for the driver to pick it up, so we could start our trip to Kentucky. The staff will bend over backwards to make sure you have the best stay possible.
This place is a very nice clean place to stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well maintained. Bathroom is very clean. The force of the spray from the shower head is weak. Kitchen area was very good. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and stove. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. Owners are from India. Sometimes the men are hard to talk to to get your point across but the lady is very helpful and easy to talk to. They all are very helpful. Housekeeper, Brandon, is very nice and friendly seems to be a real nice guy and cleans a room like no other. Plenty of parking in lot. Open field to walk pets. Had not one bug in room my entire stay till the last day. Saw one roach. I think that's pretty good for a hotel. Bad points: charges way to much for a pet. $50 a week no matter how long you stay. That's way more the big chain hotels. The exterior doors do not open from the outside with a key. Chair seats were stained and carpet could use cleaning. Needs to add more plugs and USB jacks for all our equipment. Over all this is a very good hotel and if your there on business or a traveling professional. You should stay here.
I read some good reviews, and figured the price was good, but it seriously needs an upgrade. There were dust bunnies under my bed, and the night tables were dusty. the air conditioning didnt quite cool the room well enough. The staff is friendly, but it just is not a great place to stay. You do get what you pay for in life, and hotels.
I stayed here recently and I found that the staff tried very hard to serve the customers but this place needs a serious facelift. The hotel is old but it is reasonably clean and I was fine for one night but would not want to stay longer because it doesn't have a real nice appearance inside. I will say that the staff tried very hard to accommodate requests and they were very polite, that at least was a plus. For a one night stay I would consider staying there again, but definitely not for an extended period of time.
Two day stay last week and very pleased with the accommodations. With full fridge and kitchenette we were able to fix several meals in room, saving coin for the trip. Our room was upgraded upon check in to a suite, making the stay that much more convenient and comfortable. From check in to check out the staff were cheerful and helpful. Great central location! We'll be back.
We had stayed here before but ran into several problems: not cleaned properly. Dust on furniture, mirrors not cleaned, tub clogged up, TV not hooked to cable, telephone message light wouldn't shut off, and on and on. The staff was very friendly and said they would take care of things but their performance was less than stellar. The door to the bedroom was broken, looked like someone tried to punch his way into the room. And police knocked on the door at 3:30 a.m. Apparently they were looking for a previous occupant. Management didn't know how they got into the building.
At front desk I had to wait behind someone who did NOT have a reservation. April 18-20 booked a King Suite, the biggest room. Looked to be in excess of 400 square feet. Enjoyed kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and sink but curiously no oven. Silverware and pots/pans, glasses, plates and coffeemaker also provided. I didn't have dishwasher detergent, had to buy some. King bed too soft, maybe worn down? Green couch stark contrast to red/brown furniture scheme. Ceiling fan remote is nice to have, Blinds would have been much better than curtains because the curtains blew open every time the climate unit below turned on. Sorry but in room wi-fi is the most unreliable, slowest wi-fi I've ever experienced. Carpet was stained and smelly. Not overpowering, but noticeable (same deal in the hallways). Biggest disappointment was checkout, checked out early at 7:10am (Desk hours are 7a-11pm). At 7:10am rang bell for almost 30 seconds, front desk person showed up from a side room to help.
After staying in few hotels/motels on our road trip from Atlanta to Seattle, we found this to be a little gem. Friendly staff, well kept rooms-ours had 2 queen beds, a fridge & mini kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Everything works. Also a nice touch on checking in - you get a free water or a beer! Stay here if you're visiting Tombstone or the nearby areas. Highly recommended. Will be back again.
Stayed three nights while touring the area. This property is managed by a gracious family as well as very accommodating staff. We felt welcome and our accommodation was very comfortable. It is evident that they are trying to make this property even better with the improvements they are working on. The location is quiet and close to all amenities. I would definitely stay here again.
