okay for the price
Disorganized at check in but very pleasant. Shower grouting needs cleaning bad!
management changed recently. it is rundown.
Office and lobby are a mess. Room not vacuumed, ran out of toilet paper, bathroom not thoroughly cleaned, no maid service during our stay. We used to patronize this hotel routinely during trips to Bisbee, and then it closed. We heard from friends that it had recently re-opened, so we booked a room. The condition under new management was very disappointing.
terrible, old roadside motel
Stayed here based on Orbitz review and since it was a little cheaper than other listings - big mistake. This place is an old roadside motel from the 50s or 60s. Is several min drive from historic district. The room was in bad condition. Did not notice it was so poor at check-in, as room was 88 deg when I walked in, so just left bags and returned many hours later to let AC run. Oil stains were all over carpet, holes and paint splatters on curtains, filled-in pool is now a dog pen, found a roach in my bed when I woke up after first night, a board was over window in bathroom (???), office area was unkept/trashy, and etc. I bailed out after 1st of 2 planned nights and found a place in Old Bisbee for 2nd night. DO NOT stay here.
Room was very basic as was the TV. The room was very clean which is always nice. This place is a little out of the way and for the price we could have found a comparable room closer to downtown Bisbee. Still a clean, quiet and safe place to stay. No complaints.
Helen checked us in. She was awesome... polite, very friendly and helpful. Helen recommend PP Bar and Grill, which had great burgers, tater tots, and a very friendly waiter, Eric. We walked around Bisbee and thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. The Cornucopia Cafe in Bisbee is a must.
not the best hotel
This hotel really let me down, for being in such a nice town. Everything about it was just ordinary or below. I expected a much better room.
This motel is located out of town. There is no pool and the restroom was rather small. It was nice that they do have a microwave and mini fridge in the room.
We went to the Queen Mines, History Museum and different locations in the Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tombstone area. The historic area was great. The hotel room was very big. Also clean, had a kitchenette and well located. Attention was great. Definitely will stay there again.
comfortable, quiet, clean
This Motel is basic in some ways, but has many nice touches that set it apart from chains and other non-brand motels. The rooms (bed/sitting plus dining/kitchen) were more than adequately sized, and the addition of a table in the kitchenette was a useful touch. There were no utensils or cooking/tableware, so it wouldn't really be suitable for anything other than takeout or sandwich-making, which is how we used it. We were in Bisbee for the annual stair climb, so it was good to have a quiet night for sleep and a good space for a brought in breakfast. The access to old Bisbee is a bit of a drive, but it wouldn't be a problem unless you needed to come and go many times in a day. The room was well cared for; we had lots of towels; free coffee with extra packets when we asked. Nice shower and a good TV, though we didn't watch it much. I would definitely stay here again.
