From the time we arrived at Shanti Mani at 9am we were treated superbly by staff especially front of house manager Sophear Mot who couldn't do enough for us. We ate several times at restaurant & the staff were great once again especially Mech Our room & facilities were top class I highly recommend Shanti Mani.
We have stayed at many hotels throughout Asia, and the Shinta Mani experience was right up with the very best. The genuine friendliness of the staff shone through, and every individual encounter felt uplifting and personal. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were made to feel that our stay was very special. The hotel's location is perfect to explore Siem Reap and the front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy at all. We really enjoyed the Cambodian Cooking class at the hotel - again, just very very well done. We will certainly stay here again if we return to Siem Reap...we look forward to being "welcomed home".
From the moment we arrived at Shinta Mani we were blown away with the welcoming staff and smiling faces. Each time we arrived back, the staff would say "Welcome home" and offer a cool towel and cold bottle of water. Such a welcome relief after being out in the sun. Even after touring the temples, a towel would be offered when we got back into the minivan. The quality and variety of breakfast is exceptional and so delicious! Each staff member you see welcomes you with a smile and seems genuinely happy. We would highly recommend any family or couple to stay at Shinta Mani. We could not rate them high enough. Thank you to Shinta Mani for making our stay in Siem Reap so memorable and enjoyable.
If you are looking for an amazing experience in Siem Reap, you do not need to look any further than Shinta Mani. Speaking from someone who travels all over the world frequently, the service at Shinta Mani is the best I have ever experienced. Shinta Mani is perfectly located, walking distance from the town, short ride to Angkor Wat, and off the main street in a quaint area. This boutique hotel is exquisitely set up with access to both the Shack and Club. It does not matter at which one you stay because you have full access to the amenities of both ( across the street from one another connected by a stone walking path). The pool at the Shack is in a lovely courtyard surrounded by beautiful gardens. There are many many beautiful hotels but not many care about your happiness the way the staff at Shinta Mani does. From the time we checked in until the time we left, I was made to feel very, very special. Every time I approached the entrance, I was greeted by smiling faces, one with a cold towel and another with a cold bottle of water, saying “welcome home!” Even though I never mentioned it was my birthday, the staff greeted me with a boisterous version of happy birthday, a signed card by the entire staff and a cake with candles. While sitting at the pool, homemade ice cream cones were passed to everyone and ten minute complimentary massages were given to everyone at the pool. The spa is perfection with private rooms and incredibly trained hands. The Kroya restaurant is an exotic setting with its bed swings and delicious Cambodian food. I took a cooking class that was an experience I wil never forget……it was set up in a spectacular setting with a warm, knowledgeable chef. I could go on and on about the service for many more pages but just trust me when I tell you it is the ultimate indulgent experience. They will plan all excursions for you from the private guided tour, private sunset boat cruise, golf, massages, cooking class, meditation, dinner reservations, etc.. Above all, Shinta Mani has a foundation which supports the Cambodian villages. The highlight of my trip was spending the day with the Shinta Mani Foundation visiting with the many villages. The Foundation provides homes, toilets and wells for the villages. You can donate a well for a family before you go and then visit with the family when you get there. You can change the life of a family. The Foundation also employs many of the villagers with an opportunity to work at the hotels or provides training to develop a skill to make a living. Knowing that you can have a beautiful experience at a place with a social conscience sealed the deal for me. If I could rate them higher than a 5 star, I would. Thank you Shinta Mani, you gave me an experience which was heartfelt through and through.
This is a strong 4* hotel by 'European standards'. Service is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well designed. The hotel is built around a central pool, our room had a balcony, ground floor rooms opened onto the pool area, which after a long day is like a warm bath. The food is very good and staff are attentive without being intrusive. If you are looking for a hotel that is near the markets and other attractions I would have no hesitation in recommending this one. When I stayed there, even with 40 other guests, it was very quiet throughout the hotel. Air conditioning is very good but it takes a few minutes to work out the remote control. I think all the rooms are similar in size and layout.
I was delighted to stay at Shinta Mani! The service always came with a smile. The room was absolutely perfect. If you are sensitive to smells like me, don't forget to ask them to remove the Jasmine perfume. They did with a smile! I would recommend all my friends (even my enemies - if I had any!) to come and stay and enjoy the fantastic food, program of dances - and don't forget the use of the sparkling clean swimming pool!! In my view Shinta Mani was 100 % perfect! In my view Shinta Mani was 100% perfect!
We had the most wonderful experience at Shinta Mani Shack. Every single staff member helped make our stay so comfortable, fun, relaxing, and very special. We felt as if we made friends with the staff by the end of the visit. The room and facilities are excellent and well looked after. The food is superb, the pool gorgeous, and the location was perfect allowing us to walk to the city, markets and good restaurants. Nothing was ever a problem, they helped us organise anywhere we needed to go, even at 3.30 in the morning. I would highly recommend this to everyone I know who is coming this way. Thank you so much, Shinta Mani Shack staff, for giving us such a special experience, and making this feel like home while we were there. អរគុណ
From the moment we walked in the door we were treated to the most wonderful service by the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I were looked after for our entire stay. The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, and the grounds wonderfully maintained. It was an oasis to return to each day after the sensual assaults of Siem Reap and Angkor Wat. A very nice hotel made exceptional by the staff.
We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon package and absolutely loved it. Our room was beautiful and we really enjoyed the food on offer (breakfast and lunch...we left the hotel for dinner to see more of Siem Reap). The service is second to none, the staff are so helpful, welcoming and warm at all times. The pool area is lovely too. The hotel is in a great location, only about 15 minutes walk from Pub Street and its surrounds or $2 in a tuk tuk. The staff made dinner reservations for us on two occasions in nearby restaurants which we appreciated. We also booked an excellent half day temples tour with a private guide through the hotel and were provided with a breakfast box for our 4.45am departure to Angkor Wat. We strongly recommend this hotel.
Three wonderful days at this hotel. Centrally located. The very best in staff service who were genuinely helpful and always on hand to advise and assist and attend to any needs. Not only did they have a lady providing fresh flowers daily, but she also made a superb bouquet for us to take to a friend. Impressive well maintained swimming pool. Adjacent business centre enabled me to do my emailing free of charge. We could not fault this hotel. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
