This boutique style hotel is situated about 10 minutes walk from the downtown. The rooms were medium sized but clean and comfortable with basic amenities. But the Breakfast was not upto the mark. We were staying as a part of a group tour and it seemed the staff was not well prepared to cater to a large group at breakfast. The refills were not brought on time and the staff was minimal. The free wifi was ok. Average experience.
We booked a room with a pool view and it was roomy, bright and clean. The food is terrific- a generous breakfast and we had a very good lunch our first day. We arranged airport pickup with the hotel which went off smoothly. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The biggest con is that the pool is open to non guests (for a fee) so every afternoon there was a rowdy German youth group sporting about. If you want peace and quiet by the pool after a hot day at the temples this is not the place. A strange business model as they could make up the income from pool charges with more attentive drinks service around the pool for guests
We had 3 nights at the Frangipani Villas, the breakfast is very good, the rooms are clean, a lovely big pool. $2.00US Tuk Tuk to Pub Street where there is an abundance of restaurants with very cheap meals and drinks. Would recommend to all.
Lovely hotel with such accommodating staff. Their welcoming smiles was a lovely way to start the day. Nice atmosphere around the pool. Great location for getting around. Definitely a place I want to go back to. A special thanks to the staff for making my visit so special.
We booked the Frangipani Villa Hotel in Siem Reap on the recommendation of friends who were joining us. We requested a pool facing room (quite a few in this category) but were allocated a small dingy room with a noisy, ineffective aircon and missing lights and a rock hard bed. We requested to be moved and while the reception told us that should not be a problem the manager was not interested in facilitating the move. His total focus was on large Indian and Chinese groups and individual travellers were not on his radar. Our friends received similar treatment. The hotel is well located, good pool area with basic but acceptable food. We will never stay or recommend this hotel as we have no trust in management. Staff try to be helpful but have no authority.
The hotel was simply lovely. Very clean and welcoming. Staff very kind and helpful. Very nice pool with drinks service to relax after exploring the temples. Very good value for money. The real highlight was the spa, where we enjoyed one of the best body scrubs and traditional khmer massage ever. Bliss.
Second time I have stayed here. Lovely staff, reasonable price and nice rooms. It's quiet and has a great pool to relax and suntan. Good location as it's only an easy 10 minute walk across the bridge to pub street etc..
I recently booked this hotel for our group of 24 volunteers from Australia. We were building homes in Siem Reap for 2 beautiful less fortunate families. I wanted somewhere that was not overpriced but would have the facilities for the team to relax and enjoy after a hard day building. No one was disappointed! The staff were wonderful and tried to accomodate anything we required. The swimming pool was awesome! And everything was so convenient; fantastic massages next door, mini mart, laundry and telco directly across the street. Rooms were spacious with a large bath and were cleaned perfectly everyday. Breakfast buffet was also great. Especially the breaky soup! We all loved our stay and I would not hesitate to recommend again! Thank you Frangipani for making our stay fantastic. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕
Cannot say enough good things about this lovely little hotel. As others have mentioned, it's not the Ritz but at this price point it exceeds expectations. Staff are kind and helpful and have perpetual smiles on their faces. They went out of their way to learn a little about me when they had a moment to spare between their duties. The rooms are clean and large. The air conditioning worked brilliantly and was better than a number of 5 star hotels I have stayed in. There is a mini-mart and laundry across the road for all the essentials and a number of good restaurants in walking distance. If you are looking for good accommodation without breaking the bank then this might be the place for you. Happy travels Xena
Rooms, service both good but a little further than a short walk from Pub Street although tuk tuks available at front door for about US$2. Breakfast nothing to write home about but adequate. Pool area is good. Beds very, very hard.
