While the three of us didn’t actually stay in the Telford Whitehouse Hotel, we certainly would highly recommend them...in particular a huge shout out to the Manager Nigel and wonder young lady on Reception, Sanah. We were booked into an apartment adjacent to the hotel but due to lack of communication from the managers of that apartment we at first couldn’t access it. This was not a happy end to a long day driving in rain through windy country lanes trying to find our way with a haphazard TomTom. When we couldn’t access the apartment, we were directed to Reception at the Telford Whitehouse Hotel where Sanah endeavoured to help us. She then called Nigel who helped us and gave us complimentary coffee and wine while we sorted out the problem with the less than helpful manager of the apartment. Nigel and Sanah, you really helped t night and went well above and beyond ,,,thank you so much...we were so grateful for your assistance.

I stayed at the Telford Whitehouse Hotel recently when attending an exhibition at the nearby International Centre. The highlight of my visit was how friendly everyone was - from the helpful lady on reception through to the breakfast team and then to check out. Overall a pleasant modern hotel and i would recommend without hesitation.

Very average afternoon tea.... booked in hear as a half term treat with my daughter and was a bit disappointed with the whole experience. I thought the afternoon tea was very basic nothing special and I have definitely had better at a cheaper price. I requested cheese sandwiches for my daughter which was fine but my half of sandwich choice was not very tasty. Cost was £25 for two including leisure. I paid extra for a facial which was lovely and would recommend.

One a weekend trip with Skills of Nottingham. Although the location could have been better next to a football ground. The hotel itself was very good. Evening meal was of excellent quality and the waiting staff very alert and attentive giving a sleek and efficient service. The breakfast was hot with an excellent choice of food. All staff were polite and willing to help we’ll done.

The Rooms: Big & Clean The reception is friendly. The restaurant is horrible. One hour wait for starters is not acceptable. You don’t want to know about the mains. The waiters and the duty manager need some help with the customer service. They have no clue what good service looks like. Overall review I would stay in the rooms but never going back to the restaurant.

Stayed here for one night when attending an exhibition at the international centre. Rooms are ok & spacious but double glazing was totally ineffectual. Might as well have had the window open. No plugs by the bed to charge phone etc which is surely a major oversight these days & pulling out the bedside cabinet to look for one revealed that I am the only one that’s moved them for a while. Bathroom was clean but the room looked tired. Reception staff were friendly & helpful

We held a one day conference at this hotel in September and I cant speak highly enough of Kelly and the team. Kelly helped with the arrangements beforehand and was absolutely brilliant - on the day Sam made sure that everything ran like clockwork - she was one step ahead of us all day. The day was a huge success thanks to the team at the venue.

Usually stay at the holiday inn telford, but every where was totally booked for the week. Managed to find room at the Telford Whitehouse hotel, i read the mixed tripadvisor reviews and thought I'd give it a try. First impression, car park was totally full due to an U21 football game, so not ideal. But managed to get a space after 20 minutes wait. Reception and check in was ok, nothing special. My room was a large double bed one, the bed was (matresses) were real cheap spring type, not comfy at all. All the pillows were cheap foam ones and really flat. I can only describe the furniture as slightly shabby, to be honest they looked liked either premier inn or holiday inn old furniture that they removed when they upgraded, and this particular hotel bought in bulk. I'm trying not to be too critical, but to be honest at the same time. There were stains on the walls and skirting boards and also the sides of the beds, the bathroom was ok, However the water pressure was shocking it took around 15 minutes to run a bath. My room faced onto the main road and was very noisey at times. Also told by a few work colleagues that the area around the hotel is not a good area, very earthy !!! The bar area is ok, very basic as was the restaurant area, the furniture was very grubby and stained. I had a meal each night, served by different staff each time. There were a number of young staff, and I'm not going to be critical of them as they obvisouly has little to no support. But the service was more like a cafe than a restaurant, as you walk in to the area, you wait to be seated. Then a member of staff would take your room number and show you to you seat. One particular older lady (member of staff) was shocking, she had no idea about good service or how to talk to customers. My hotel and meals were paid for by my company, so I had nothing to pay. However, after each meal I would have to wait at the till as did other guests, and this lady would say No its not got anything on my paperwork to say you have meals included. Or she would say loudly oh it's ok you have a meal allowance. Not what I want to hear, I want to be told no it's fine everything is ok to charge to your room. One night I ordered my meal and a beer, the meal arrived and no drink. Got half way through my meal, when I asked could I have my drink. Was told oh they are changing a barrel. 20 minutes later still not drink, so I asked for a lime and soda. That I collected on my way out !!!! Turns out the same happened to other guests I spoke to, and they ordered different type of drinks to me.. service was poor and disorganised, the restraint wasn't even busy... The food was mixed. First night I had a chicken burger, this was shocking over cooked and dry, served with cold chips. Second and third night was surprisingly good I had a steak and mushroom pie, very tasty and large portion. Fourth night was not good, fish and chips, half cooked chips and the fish was over cooked batter and wet sogy fish. To be honest if I'm in the area and need a hotel I won't choose to stay here again,

Stayed for one night and would definitely use again. Lovely sized bedroom and very clean. My only complaint was that the wifi was quite poor. I had a room on the ground floor, so maybe it's not as strong there. Didn't have time to use the pool and other facilities, but will make time on my next visit.

Stayed for four weeks and had four different rooms, always very clean and spacious with either a table and chairs or a sofa, large LCD TV. The beds were comfortable. As a single traveler on two of the weeks I had more beds than I knew what to do with, one was with a twin and two singles and the next was two doubles. The staff were always very helpful and courteous. The restaurant was more than adequate with ample choice on the menu.
