Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights whilst on a business trip. Well where do I start?! The room appeared clean on the surface but one evening moving back the bedspread I noticed questionable stains all over it, I left a note for the cleaners to change this and it was still there the next day. Hideous. Talking of room cleaners, my room was cleaned one morning and my wet towel was taken out of the bathroom where I had left it and for some unknown reason left on my freshly made bed- still sopping wet. The hot water is scalding and one evening there didn’t seem to be any cold water coming out of the bath taps. There were rips in the duvet cover too. Friday and Saturday night staying here was exceptionally noisy, the walls are paper thin. All week I could hear people snoring, making telephone calls- word for word and even stirring their cups after making a hot drink. But, come the the weekend the walls seemed even thinner. Drunk people roaming the halls at 2am, running around and screaming despite complaints to staff at the front desk the behaviour continued until at least 4am. Despicable really. This wasn’t even on football match days, I dread to think how loud it would be then. With regards to breakfast there was a reasonable spread, however some of the fruit was off and had a “fizzy” taste to it. The breakfast staff however, were very attentive and helpful. Although it did take 35 minutes for two poached eggs to arrive! At reception the desk is often unmanned, there is no bell to contact a member of staff in the back room and more often than not a note left saying “they’d be back soon”. In summery, the walls are like tracing paper and you can hear every word from the room next door, despite not having an adjoining room and the bedding was filthy. The majority of the staff were friendly though when you could find them.
We late booked this hotel for a night between hospital visits and were impressed with the price and the location. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant on arrival and departure. The room was warm and comfortable with two big beds so suitable for a family with young children although that was not our requirement, and the bathroom was very clean with both bath and shower. Also decent tv and very nice linen. The restaurant which looks out over Telford football ground had a great menu with more than the usual boring veggie choices. I had a really good curry. You could choose from either menu or carvery. Interesting and well prepared and present. Breakfast was a huge buffet and a choice of full English or continental, very nice. Check out time of 11 made for a relaxed morning. We weren’t there long enough to try the facilities but they looked good. Would definitely go back.
Don't normally do reviews. I'm a premier inn type person as that's what the company I work for normally book..... I'm converted.. apart from as fairly noisy ground floor at night (Not the fault of the hotel....just some really inconsiderate guests) this place had been a breath of fresh air. . ...... reception were hilarious after my satnav got me jammed in the outside seating area... the bar staff have been brilliant when I got back from work early wanting a snack and a few wines.... breakfast is way above any of the premier inns both in quality and service. ..... I spend a lot of time in this area with work... Will be back next week!!! Serious applause to this place and all the staff who have dealt with me.
We stayed here after a function in the hotel function rooms. The rooms in this Hotel are larger than I expected and definitely larger than your average modern hotel rooms. The rooms and corridors were very clean. We also had a buffet breakfast which was very good.

another excellent Christmas day meal enjoyed by 12 of us this is the second time we have been for Christmas day we visit this hotel now and then for a meal on a Sunday and have not been disappointed any of the visits we have made
We stayed here again recently, once again whilst visiting family in the area, and had yet another really pleasant experience. We really like this Hotel and always find the staff really pleasant and helpful. Last time we stayed the Chef Tim cooked my daughter an Omelette for breakfast which we really appreciated and she thought it was yummy. This time we asked if Tim was still here and were really glad to be told he was. Yet again he cooked our daughter an Omelette and he even remembered us from last time we visited (much to my daughters delight!) Another fabulous and memorable stay made all the better by the pleasant helpful staff. Thank you!
Thank you for a fantastic Christmas party night! The DJ was fab, we danced the night away. The food was excellent, lovely and hot! A special mention to our fantastic waitress Chloe who was attentive, polite and super helpful. She is an asset to the Whitehouse team. Thanks Chloe for looking after us so well. We had a brilliant night!
