Good location, although my room was on the traffic side which was quite noisy. Large room and nice bed, had problem with hot water which was fixed same day. No sausage or bacon for one of the breakfasts due to 'unforeseen circumstances' - would have been better if they said what had happened.

Well placed within ample parking. However room not properly checked, no heating on, tatty wobbly chair, toilet which did not flush properly and a faulty flashing bathroom light - not good. Breakfast was good and hot.

Pleasant overnight stay with reasonable well cooked breakfast. Location on a developing industrial estate could be better. Good value for a short stay within reasonable distance of the town centre. Nice clean room.

Nice hotel stayed here when it was Hampton by Hilton, looking a bit dated but still comfortable. room was very nice and the staff were very helpful as we arrived very early and the got a room ready for us.

What sets this hotel apart from other budget hotels is the staff who made my stay as easy as it could be from check in to food and drinks through to check out, the staff were very attentive and everything you should expect at a hotel.

The hotel overall is pretty average. For a holiday inn I think it is in need of renovation. The staff was very friendly. The beds weren’t amazing but the pillows were good. The breakfast was free but not amazing. Parking was free and the WiFi was good.

Clean friendly hotel. Had a problem with the shower but they sorted it out no problem. Only criticism is the lighting in the car park. Not all of the lights were working which wasn’t nice when arriving at night for the first time.

Room 223. The window was around one inch off closing constantly, which made the room freezing at night and noisy from traffic. There were several place with what looked like blood on the carpet. Breakfast good and plenary.

After leaving London we'd thought we'd visit Shrewsbury as Darwin was born there and the old towne is very cool. It appears to be built on an island because the river wraps around it. The Holiday Inn Express is outside of town (its only downfall) but for a fairly low price you can take a taxi downtown and hike about. The people at the Holiday Inn were very informative. Called our cab, recommended pubs and they put on very good hot continental breakfast.

A nice pleasant hotel with clean, comfortable tidy and spacious rooms. Our bathroom was quite spacious with lots of instant hot water and large soft towels.Because we were stopping here for leisure, rather then work related, the hotel is perhaps a little bit too far out of town, but the taxi's we ordered were always extremely prompt, and very reasonably priced as well.Would i stop here again ?, yes.Whilst there, we did have one or two problems with the wrong card keys being issued and wrong rooms being allocated.
