Confusing entrance with desk to the right and desk at end of corridor (which is an office not a check in) Lovely big room (10) with a place to sit down. Now my BIGGEST problem (not just at this hotel, but hotels across the world), When I take a bath/shower I take off my glasses, How can you tell which is which of the shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner or body lotion when all the containers are the same size and colour. Also the font is small. Nice bar area however the price of soft drinks is too high orange and soda water nearly £4 when at my local £1. Nice evening meal however the menu does not reflect the menu online, The menu I was given to choice from was priced at £15 upwards no SEASONAL MENU, Dorrell’s Classic Main Courses or Dorrell’s Burgers & Hot Sandwiches Good breakfast

We've just returned from a one night stay at this hotel with the ironbridge passport deal. It was £139 for a one night stay plus breakfast and a passport to the 10 museums at ironbridge which is valid for one year, absolutely great deal! We arrived earlier morning even though we couldn't check in until 2pm but they let us get the passports so we could make a day of it. Checked in later and we had room 4. Beautiful room, big bed, amazing jacuzzi bath and shower. Room was modern with lots of light but the blackout curtains were good at night. We even got an adoptable bear left on the bed! Breakfast was beautiful too, and the waiter who served us was very very nice, I didn't catch his name but please thank him! The only thing I would say is we didn't have any hand soap? Apart from that we thought the value for money on this deal was great and we would definitely be back again if we made another trip to the area. Thanks all at Hadley park house!! And I had to adopt the bear.....🙈

We stayed for two nights with our grandchildren in a large room (room18) ... very large double bed with a mattress on the floor either side of the bed ... even then there was plenty of walking around space .... perhaps a mattress on the floor may not appeal to everybody but the two grandchildren through it was a brilliant adventure. Exceptionally large bathroom but I believe the room may be used primarily for disabled visitors so the extra space allowed for possible wheelchair turning area ... the room was quiet ...well except for our grandchildren!! We stayed with breakfast on both mornings and an evening meal on the first night ... all of the food was freshly cooked .. well presented and served very professionally. Drinks are reasonably priced and the staff were excellent ... taking time to talk to the grandchildren and being very understanding when it takes them five minutes to decide what drink they would like ... a very enjoyable experience and we have booked to go back as a couple in November

We recently enjoyed a three-course meal in the conservatory area as part of a 60th Birthday celebration. The food was well presented, flavoursome and the portions were of a good size also. My husband and I both had the sticky date pudding with butterscotch ice cream which was delicious. We did think the drinks were on the pricer side.

Very disappointed with the bedroom allocated to my wife and myself. The decor was below what was expected. Room 7 was very small, walls were marked and bathroom was below standard. The ceremony room was very nice and the food served at the wedding breakfast was also very good. However, prior to and following the ceremony, there was no other area apart from the main bar which was very small, where guests could sit and have a drink and have a drink, as the other areas which would have been ideal, were being used for other small functions. The breakfast on the following morning was in my opinion below what we expected as some items seemed undercooked, whilst others were not hot. Very disappointed.

Visited Hadley Park House for afternoon tea. Our quarter sandwiches were fresh but rather minimalist.... The desert section consisted of what appeared to be a lemon tart, once we managed to hack through the pastry a yellow liquid rapidly oozed out, making it impossible to eat. The ginger bread was quite tasty. Next came the 'scones' however a better description would be 'thuds' they were a hard, heavy, solid mass and totally inedible. So out of our afternoon tea we had what amounted to two rounds of bread and butter with fillings and a ginger bread cake, plus the cup of tea (tea bags). We explained the issues to the gentleman serving to us, there was no apology just, "I will tell the chef". Now we all have bad baking days and they do happen, however when a customer is clearly disappointed it's all about how you handle the complaint. Was it handled well? Definitely not. We were offered no apology and no offer of price reduction so we paid £21 for a sandwich, cake and cup of tea for two. We won't be doing that again in a hurry and certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

wWe booked for Sunday lunch to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary which was their choice of venue as they had enjoyed meals previously. We booked a table for 9 adults and were looking forward to celebrating this once in a life time family celebration. We were aware there was a wedding taking place on the day so my parents were advised thate would be in the other room to the conservatory which was fine. What we did not expect was poor to no service and the main course of sirloin beef to be completely uneatable. It was tough and raw, the roast potatoes had been cooked and left to stand. You would expect vegetables to be a little crisp but they were raw. The choice of menu was limited, this could have been due to the wedding but it was extremely poor and very tasteless. We called the waitress to complain that the main meal was appalling and she fetched the head waiter who was a little dismissive and offered the bottle of wine for free. My brother said well 4 of the meals could not be eaten and he was then asked to go out to the office. He came back after some time to say he was just left standing there. The head waiter then came back to fetch him again and he spoke with the manager and whilst he offered that 4 meals would not be charged for the whole experience was ruined and left my parents very upset that the family celebration they had planned for was not the experience they had hoped or expected. My family would not recommend the Hadley Park to anyone we will not be going back again nor can we have that time again and it was still an expensive meal none of us enjoyed please beware if you are thinking of booking for a special meal

WOW where do I start!? Me and my Wife got married here on Saturday 29th July 2017 and it was perfect from start to finish. (We even had the weather) Mark and the team exceeded all expectations and our day was better than we could have ever hoped for! Even the little things meant so much to us - a standard joke about my wife preferring lambrini to prosecco and guess what, that's what they provided for her! She loved it! Advice to future couples: Don't worry about a single thing everything will be taken care of! The whole team are all just so calm and organised and they all know what they are doing.. Just enjoy every moment of it - it goes by so quick! Thank you once again we will be back very soon! Love the Heraty's

Went here to have some lunch and a bit of a break from a hectic day. I was completely amazed at how nice the place is and how wonderful the staff were. They were polite, respectful and couldn't do enough for you; which got me wanting to return again...and I will. The food was really nice and it arrived quite quickly after ordering. I also had a couple of drinks and finished with a coffee before I left. The coffee was filtered, which is becoming a rarity these days, so it was welcomed very much. Their car park is a good size too. I think that they had some kind of function on at the time, and I could still find a space. There are dining areas both outside and in, with the inside dining area being a large conservatory, which I really liked...reminded me of when I was a child in Wales and you'd get silver service in a beautiful Victorian venue. So, with great food and service at a lovely venue, I'll definitely return. :)

Stayed here over a weekend on the two night groupon deal. Lovely building and atmosphere. Very comfortable bed and classic style decor. We paid an extra £20 to have a feature room with the jacuzzi bath which was nice to have for the two nights. Food was very tasty and staff helpful. First night was peaceful and nice. The only downside was there was a wedding on the second night and being in the feature room we were one level above the bar - and the sound really travelled in the old building. We checked at reception and they said it was finishing at 12am - which was fine by us. At 1:30am there was still lots of noise at the bar and we couldn't get to sleep. Very frustrating as we'd paid for the upgrade. Other than that's it was a lovely stay with a very tasty proper English breakfast!
