We found the hotel to be very old & outdated. Would not recommend this hotel.

I've never believed a hotel is open to guests with such filthy rooms. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!!!

Met my expectations. Quality continental breakfast.

I had a great stay at the Days Inn Shrewsbury, it had all the little things that make hotel life easier that often get taken for granted at places twice the price, Microwave Fridge free parking vending machines cool staff, a lot of space in the rooms, 2 TV's and a big pull out couch ontop of a comfy bed, AC worked great, the front desk lady knew my room number without even saying it and the other guests were all pretty cool! Fun time and definitely great value for the price :)

Two beds no couch and very smelly but cheap with highest booklet coupon. Full beds and noisy bath fan when light is on.

Good location. Helpful Staff. easy to I495 or rt20, and rt9

We arrived at the hotel and it had a bad aroma, very smoky. The room was not clean, smelled of both alcohol and cigarettes and was not of the quality represented on the site. We also feared for our safety in the environment to such an extent that we elected to find another place to stay even though we had already paid for our lodging. Its ranking was far above what it should have been and frankly should not be on the site. It was simply unacceptable on any level, at any price

This was a good overall experience to stay at a Hotel for less than $70. I would recommend the hotel look at cleaning the entry way and lobby area to make this a bit more appealing. The room itself was recently renovated with new carpeting and bathroom flooring. Although, the Days Inn floor mat at the lobby desk was very dirty/stained. Also, the carpeting on the stairs was very worn out to the point the that the carpeting on the steps was worn off. The hallway also smelled dirty, and the carpeting was not very clean. One other area of concern are the bathroom towels which were slightly stained and the pack and play that was given to us to use for a crib was pretty dirty/stained not the most appealing. Although, the staff was very helpful and the continental breakfast was good. At the end of the day this was hotel was a good deal.

The good: Staff is friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean. The bad: The place is disgusting. Everywhere smells of smoke. Non-smoking room wasn't as bad with the smell, but that's about it. Carpeting had mildew EVERYWHERE. I'm not talking about a small corner - I mean all over. Bed covers had holes in them and my clothes in the morning smelled of smoke. A lot of the lights didn't work. The hanger rod in the closet was missing. Basically, unless you can't find another place, I would stay away.

Have stayed here on several occasions. Alway stratified with the accomodations and service. Being a smoker, it is nice to still be able to find a smoking room! Is getting harder to find these days.

The room was large, and the microwave and fridge were a plus. Room was outdated lookwise and the wall light didn't work. Clean though. Staff was really nice at the desk. Least favorite thing was the smell of smoke when first walking into the building. BUT my room had NO smoke smell what so ever. Good for the money :)

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty subpar but everything else was good. No fitness center in the hotel, but they offered access to a fitness club right next door that was phenomenal. Overall a good experience.

The front desk person was very nice. But the room and hotel were encased in a sour cigarette smell. The room which was non-smoking wasn't. The carpet needed to be replaced 10 years ago with burns and mystery stains. The TV was tiny, the mattress was poor - could feel the springs. The bathroom was ok. The breakfast was a box of donuts, coffee, apple juice. There is no see-able sign out front so you can miss this motel very easily. All in all this place was fine 15 years ago. Not now.

It's nothing special, but good for the price point. I was on business by myself so it was fine for me.

I stayed her in 2013 and it was clean, had wireless intrernet. Stayed again on 9/6-7/14 and halls had dirty carpets and smelled. Wireless internet did not work either. A policeman was parked in back lot in the evening. Probably to chase away the drug delaers.

We only needed a one-night crash pad on a long journey home. Sadly, this place could not deliver. Given the thin walls, zero soundproofing and loud metal fire doors on the stairwells, we were given a 4 AM wake-up call by our neighboring guests. After an hour of trying to get back to sleep (with more slamming from the noisy stairwell doors), we gave up and checked out shortly after 5 AM. I can overlook badly stained carpets and a minimal bathroom at this price point--but only if I can get a good night's sleep. That didn't happen. I'd like to note that the bathroom was simple but very clean. That counts for something. But we could have saved money and gotten a better night's sleep by pulling into a rest stop or parking lot and sleeping in our car.

Hotel was not up to the Brand name it had did not even have a tv in room rugs dirty

Overall, it was not much more than a place to hang my hat (so to speak). The staff was very accommodating even though I arrived long before check in time. From there it went downhill. The WiFi signal was not strong enough to connect me to the internet from my room, so I ended up working on my computer in the lobby for my whole stay. Good thing that I had a laptop, because the lobby computer was not working. Since I spent a lot of time in the lobby, I noted that there were lots of problems with the front desk computer and printer, plus problems with keeping track of which rooms were being used. The first night of my stay, a hotel employee let herself into my room about 12:30 am (to see if someone was in the room). My room was near the rear of the complex, so it was convenient for me to use the rear entrance. There was a dead fish wrapped in aluminum foil laying there for two days until I complained, and the rear hallway and steps were never cleaned while I was there. The same trash is probable still there. In the breakfast area, the pastry was uncovered and the juice machine was not working on the last day of my stay.

Pictures on the website are NOT from this hotel. Place is absolutely disgusting! I requested a king suite and was told they ran out of them upon my arrival. Was given a room that smelled disgusting and was not properly cleaned. Stains all over the carpet and horrendous odor throughout the room! Avoid at all costs!!!!

The lady at the front desk was the only nice thing about this hotel. My room had a horrible smell, like a basement in an elderly smoker's house; many, many stains on the walls, floors and ceiling. The lamp was broken and the bed had hair in it but the thing that made me leave in tears after after a long and exhausting flight was the headboard. It had three, HUGE yellow boogers stuck to it. I left about five minutes after check in to search for a clean place to sleep that night. AVOID AT ALL COST
