The lobby smelled awful. I was checked into a room, got upstairs, keyed in only to find someone had already stayed in the room and no one had cleaned it. I get back downstairs and the woman in front of me was back downstairs for the same reason. I finally got into an unoccupied room and it was old, dusty, and crusty. I didn't want to touch anything....like anything. I actually took one of the towels and soap from the bathroom and wiped down the desk and tables, etc. I had no heat the first night. I had to ask twice for them to 'turn on the heat to my room'. I'm used to central air and heat where you turn things on and off yourself. I refused to walk on the carpet even in socks..house slippers only. I slept in the bed with pants, a sweater, socks, and house slippers on so I would touch minimal coverings. I was supposed to be there for 4 nights and eventually checked out a day early (it was a pre-paid trip) to stay at a neighboring hotel. I took a loss for the last night, but it was worth staying in a much cleaner hotel with a nicer smell that I was able to walk around in with my socks on. The Ramada NEVER has to worry about me patronizing any of their facilities ever in life. Like ever!

After driving 4 hours with 2 children, I checked in and was given a room on the 5th floor all the way at the other end of the hotel. Carrying all our bags and the kids down the long hallway, I opened the door only to find that there was already a guest assigned to the room. After lugging everything all the way back downstairs, I was given a different room with a very empty apology. I had to ask the guy at the front to call the room before I hauled everything all the way up to the 6th floor at the other side of the building. The room was dirty. Sheets were stained, and there wasn't any additional bedding provided for the pull out sofa. Based on the state of the room, I was too afraid to even attempt their complementary breakfast the next morning.

One of the most unpleasant hotel stays. Employee who checked us in was not in a uniform, so I was unsure he was staff. Room was freezing and the heater would not turn on. We froze all night. Lots of hair in the bathtub, bathroom floor, on the toilet, in the sink. I took pics to post on Travelocity. Stains on our sheets, on the drapes, etc.

Room smelled of mildew. Roaches present. Had to be moved to another room. Only choice we had because it was late and we were traveling. We based our choice by the rating on website.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The bed was clean and comfortable but the room had stale odor and the hallways. Smells like damp carpeting or dirty mops used.

Staff was friendly but hotel is warn and unkept. Hotel has seen better days, room smelled like mold and air conditioner was noisy.

I chose this hotel because hotels closer to downtown are too pricey, and we were only staying one night. My son loved the outdoor/indoor heated pool and the jacuzzi. I loved that the bed was comfortable and there was a refrigerator in the room. I did not like that I found hairs around the bathtub, and they didn't appear to be the kind that come from your head, if you catch my drift. Also, when we got to the room it was very hot and the air was off. I couldn't get it turned on. I called the front desk to ask how to work it and they said someone would need to come get it started for me. I don't understand why they didn't take care of that when I checked in or, better, before check-in! A maintenance guy came in to get it started, via something in the ceiling, and it took all night for the room to become a comfortable temperature. This was very inconient because we planned to spend the entire night in the hotel room. It almost ruined things for me; it was just too hot. Also, most hotels have vending machines with snacks along with a machine for drinks. This one only had a machine for drinks. I didn't like that.

One of the older hotels in Shreveport, so dosent have all the bells and whistles that some of the newer ones do. But over all a clean and comfortable stay. The staff did seem a tad over worked and scattered brained at times. That would be my one complaint, as even thought I had the Do NOT disturb sign on my door, it was knocked on several times by staff asking me the SAME question over and over, due to me extending my stay a extra evening.

Trying to find the hotel was a bit tricky, but once I was there it was great!! I offered my credit card for incidentals because that's what all of the reviews said that the front desk would want, but the room perfect the indoor pool perfect hot tub perfect and outdoor pool perfect. I booked the room so that my son could have a pool party. And the staff was attentive, the pool had towels for days. I couldn't complain about this hotel at all!!

Hotel maintainance is lacking, and some repairs are needed to restore to previous status. A/C is a health hazard and needs immediate attention. Could be great facility, but needs some work. Safety could also be a concern.

Hotel stay was nice, and I would stay here again. Despite the fact our hot water wasn't working, we got upgraded to a two bedroom suite. free breakfast, they were awesome. Everyone was very friendly and spoke to us.

i was pleasantly surprised that this hotel had all the amenities i needed. The rooms are spacious and the bed was very comfortable. they have a nice bar and a dining room and served great gumbo. The staff is great and very customer friendly. The pool was so refreshing. I would recommend this as a great value for any business traveler.

Great staff. Great location and easy to find. Close to resturant. Fabulous room.

Wish the pool opened earlier than 10am. But after I saw a film floating on top of the water, I didn't care to swim. Other than that it was perfect. Great ppl, comfortable and very nice room.

I really enjoyed my overnight stay. The staff was nice and the room was really nice.

Had a great stay, bed was very comfy and pillows was very soft. I would stay there again. I just don't like where it is.

We took a last minute trip to the casino. The hotel is conviently located off I-20. My first impression was OMG I made a bad choice. There was a large work crew and a baseball team in the lobby. To my surprise, it was very nice a quite. The room was waaay better than I imagined. I'll definitely consider the hotel again.

New Years Eve night, was quiet, never heard a single noise all night. Clean, comfortable bed, decent toiletries.

The hotel was great. The rooms were clean and cozy. We would stay again but skip the restaurent the service was terrible that evening and breakfast too expensive.

Great value. Very restful, would stay there again.
