We were encouraged to book this hotel based on its largely positive online reviews but, as it turned out, we were deeply disappointed not just by its general lack of maintenance and dubious state of cleanliness but, more importantly, by the lack of responsiveness of the staff. For the most part, the staff was weak, unhelpful and seemingly lacking in motivation. They had little interest in trying to understand our concerns, let alone in any attempt to address them. To be fair, the staff was just a reflection of a weak and inept management team who not only failed to address a concern which one member of our group had with his reservation but, more worryingly, chose to hide behind false and misleading statements. It did not come as a surprise to us that at least one or two members of the staff were terrified to deal with their manager(s). This hotel was the only blemish in an otherwise largely positive experience in Shirdi. Luckily, we will not be returning there any time soon. During our short stay in Shirdi, we came across a handful of other decent hotels where we would much rather have stayed and which we plan to book in the future.
