Shangri-la Hotel, Shenzhen

Hotel was very nice. It was a bit pricey for China standards at 164usd. But staff was pleasant. I ate at lobby bar and at champs both were great. Champs had nice entertainment. Only complaint is that that is a very very large lobby area with No seating for waiting for acquaintances to arrive ? Plenty of room for a few couches or at least some chairs. Otherwise very nice. Also they need to arrange with a share van company for boarder and HKG van service. They only have a limo which is very expensive. Need more boarder and airport options

Facilities were too old. Non smoking room could smell smokes from neighboring rooms. But staffs were nice and helpful

if you are going for work this hotel has good location, it is right next to the railroad station walking distance. the hotel lobby was very pretty, for me the rooms were ok. nothing great, I think it is time for a renovation in the rooms.

It used to be a great hotel but it is old and worn down, and on top of that everything thing is charged at the ultimate premium, this hotel was a favourite but not anymore. One good thing though, very easy location when you are coming from of intend to go to Hong Kong, you just walk from hotel over the border.

Comfortable room and great breakfast buffet. Nice lobby lounge. Great fitness area with whirlpool, sauna, and streamroom.

VERY COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IF YOU'RE IN LUO HU.

I enjoyed my stay. The value to cost ratio was excellent. I would go there again.

To stay at the Shangri-La ShenZhen is like to stay in hom plus all the pamper that you can imagine. I really like this place. Thanks to the horizon staff, they are superb.

When you consider the location is directly across from the the szx railway station, it's a good value for under $220 a night. If you pay more than that, you will be disappointed with the rooms and cleanliness. It's an older hotel.

When you stay at this hotel, you get the impression that you are in the early nineties. The decor is from that era and it is in desperate need of remodeling. The carpet in the room is old and you do not want to go around it barefooted. The staff is somewhat friendly, that is about the only good thing that I have to say about this hotel, aside from its location (next to the train station to go to Hong Kong) and decent recently remodeled restaurant in the second floor. If you want to buy knockoffs, the stores are in a building that is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, next to the train station.

I liked the hotel , the room and the service.
