Desk attendant was not very friendly as we seemed to interrupt her break. No parking by front door as many motorcycles were in that space.
The sewer system was bad so the toilet didn’t flush the shower didn’t drain, the faucet in the shower was impossible to maneuver so you either got smoking hot or freezing cold. The entrance and windows were filthy. The room was fairly clean, floors were new, but dirty. Bed was only mattress on a frame so not comfy. Window lock was broken and we were in ground level. Got $50 back after complaining, but will not stay again.
It's an ok place. Clean enough to stay in, could have placed more towels. Parking car coming in late at night was a bit difficult but overall it was okay.

date of stay 4/30/20-5/1/20-My stay at Hotel Shelby in Shelby, Mt was a ridiculous experience. The experience began that there were poor conditions to begin the stay. the bed was made in hap hazard condition and when i pulled the covers and blanket up there was dirt on the sheet of the bed. Upon looking for the showering linens it came apparent that there was no soap to take a show or bath. The most distinguishing part of the stay came upon my stay on the morning of 5/1/20. The cleaning staff began BANGING on my door at 8:00 a.m., the stated checkout time is 11:00 a.m (Three Hours BEFORE CHECKOUT). I did not sleep well but however was up before 8:00 a.m. I told the staff I was not ready. at 9:25 a.m. the staff again banged on the door. i stated again that I was not ready, again the checkout is 11:00 a.m. (One Hour and Thirty-Five Minutes before CHECKOUT.) At 9:30 a.m. the hotel front desk called and said that they smelled smoke coming from the room, However, I Do Not Smoke, Nor did I smoke in the room. I offered to call the police since it is not legal to smoke in the hotel, to have a law enforcement person to disprove the employee allegations, the hotel refused. This ridiculous experience was simply an attempt to force a paying customer out of their room before the scheduled checkout time simply so the employee could clean the room, as the hotel was not busy.
Can’t be beat for the price! Very clean modern rooms.
Didn’t like the fact that they didn’t offer any type of breakfast.

Excellent for the price, great value. You can tell new owner working on improvements. Entryway a little under par but they put resources into the rooms. Very fresh and clean. We had nice stay.
Wasn't expecting anything fancy for the price, but this place felt less "clean and basic" than it did "old and tired." I've stayed in worse and paid more, but also stayed in better and paid less.
