The bathroom was not clean. You can see that it hasn’t been cleaned in quite a while. There was no extra toilet paper and there was just an overall sense of uncleanliness in my room. The common areas were fine.
No one was at the desk to register. Laundry person showed up, and she walked around the hotel to find front desk attendant. Hotel was clean. Coffee was available. Bag breakfasts were provided (included packaged pastry, granola bar, dry cereal). Milk was there in mini fridge.
Not rude when something isn’t right very very nice! Good breakfast nice rooms just wish it was a little cleaner. But over all id stay again
My stays have always been pleasant. The staff is friendly, the rooms are always clean, and the atomsphere makes you feel right at home.

This was my second time staying at this particular hotel in Forest City. It was a great experience! The staff was super friendly, the hotel was spotless, and we even had a morning paper outside our door the next morning. Great surprise! Love this hotel!
The bed was not comfortable, the A/C was not blowing cold air, it was loud. We could hear people upstairs walking around and hear people through the walls. We didn't get much rest.
I stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding for the weekend. The bed was extremely comfortable and I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast (had eggs that tasted very fresh along with hot sausage and pancakes). I did find a couple bugs in the room (1 beetle in the bathroom and 1 ant in the bedroom area), which is understandable sometimes/ for the summertime, however if I had seen more than 2, I might have complained. The staff was okay, but not super friendly. I was there for a friend's wedding and the staff called me at 6:30am to let me know they had a basket for me (left by the wedding party) at the front desk when I checked out.... They should've at least waited another hour before calling to wake me up and since I had to check out anyway, they could've just given me the basket then. Also check out time was written as 11am and when I checked out at 10:15, the woman behind the desk said "we were waiting on you," which made me feel like I was late for check out even though I was not. Overall, I would recommend to stay if you need a place in Forest City, but not a great or out of the ordinary experience.

The hotel was very nice & quite. The bed was very firm. We left early because the bed was so hard.
