Bottom line - this place is not as advertised. We anticipated a marvelous stay, based upon the reviews. instead we arrived to find the entire staff gone, with the exception of one young woman who told us (repeatedly) that she was left on duty from 0700 - 10pm for a solid week, while the owners went on vacation - leaving her alone to do literally all the work- including cooking and serving the breakfasts, cleanup and reception. It was nuts - we felt awful for her. the property itself has a very limited view, and the 'trail' is nothing but a grass field with a mowed path that passed nothing. they advertised a spa on site, but it was closed for the first 3 days we stayed, and when they finally answered their phone on day 4, it was to tell us that their spa staff (who would be normally doing facials) was temporarily filling in at the hotel, so there was no availability. Added to that, each morning, when breakfast was served, it could not be eaten until we all prayed to Jesus. Had that aspect been advertised, we would have at least known to stay elsewhere - but it's not written anywhere. We ended up leaving a day early and just the expense because we were so uncomfortable.

We really loved staying at this beautiful inn. The hosts were exceptionally gracious and accommodating. Breakfasts were outstanding.

Wonderful ambiance. Decorated beautifully and very clean. The family that operates the B&B is wonderful. So helpful and detail oriented. They made our 35th wedding anniversary wonderful. The location is just minutes from Dollywood and Pigeon Forge and their restaurant and shops. Will definitely return. The Bassette 's

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. Everything was amazing the room was nice the bed was comfortable and the food was Amazing. The breakfast was so good and a great way to start our day. The inn was not far from the tourist sites. We had a couples massage while staying and it was so relaxing. The staff was friendly and accommodating with every need. We cannot wait to come back. We already booked our next anniversary stay!

The property was so beautiful, quaint and cozy. The staff was AMAZING! They were friendly, informative and very helpful. The scenery of the misty Smoky Mountains is absolutely breathtaking. We will definitely be back!

Welcoming and clean. Breakfast was good. Employees were polite and helpful.

This has to be one of the BEST places I've ever stayed. My wife and I got one of the cottages. The room looked exactly like the pictures. Nice furniture, comfortable bed, really hot water to fill the jetted tub. In fact too hot. filled the tub up expecting the water to turn cold and even out but had to let water out and fill with cold water to do that. Can't say enough good things about the staff. They made you feel at home. From the very start they told us to make ourselves feel at home and we did which really made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very good. The people were all very friendly. In fact we found that through out Tennessee. OK, one negative. The DVD player wouldn't send a signal to the TV. Really though no problem. We informed the staff. They sent Presley over and he fixed the problem. I've seen some complaints in the reviews like the DVD player didn't work. I can't help to wonder if they said anything to the staff or simply waited to get home and complain in their review. I want to warn people. Cats and a dog roam the area. They will follow you, rub up against you and play with you. So if you don't like dogs and cats you may not want to stay here lol. We will be looking forward to our next stay.

A place that is still close to many attractions, but nestled in the foothills of the smokies which also makes you feel rather secluded. The awesome cooking smells that permeates the place adds to the Norman Rockwell feeling; from family style breakfasts to special evening treats, you just don't want to miss.

Michele Thank you for your review of our property. I am sorry that you feel that your stay was not what you intended it to be. I am hoping that that was not a reflection on Chantel who volunteered her services and went above and beyond the week that the owners were gone to insure that our guests had a wonderful stay. The Spa is closed every Sunday and Monday as advertised on the website and on Google. I am unaware of a reason we were closed a 3rd day, and yes one of our 2 estheticians was helping at the main house. We also don't hide the fact that we are a Christian-owned and operated business and it is stated on our website and in many reviews that we say a treating and bless the food before we serve.
