This is a great hotel choice in a great location! It is centrally located and right near the number 2 subway line. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. My only complaints are: (1) the lighting is way too dim in the room and bathroom, (2) I could unfortunately hear noises and pipes draining from the upper floors from my room, (3) I wish there were even more outlets, including USB outlets that are becoming common - and so convenient! - in Korean hotel rooms (especially next to the nightstand for phone charging at night).

From our first greeting at the front door to securing our taxi ride back to Incheon Airport, the hotel staff was very pleasant, patient, and efficient in contributing to wonderful mini vacation. The front desk clerks answered our questions in English, provided directions to different places we wanted to visit, and made sure we had everything we needed (internet access, map with directions written on it, and towels). The room had comfortable beds, refrigerator with water, and a "smart" toilet. My sister and I truly appreciate Hotel Shinshin front desk clerks and housekeepers for making our stay in Korea a great experience.

Small, modern and clean room. Friendly and English speaking staff goes out of their way to help you.

Overall excellent! I can only say positive things about this hotel from every point of view. Very professional staff, clean, great location...

Great location close to Myeongdong Shopping District in Seoul. Good price and one free breakfast.

Just needed a small place to crash for a night. Just one thing to note--if you take the keycard out of its in-room holster, the power in the room cuts off. I assume it's to make sure there's no wasted electricity, which is a neat idea... but also an unexpected surprise when leaving something behind to recharge, and it doesn't.

The location and service were great. We had a great time together. Everything was close by.

I really enjoyed this property - it felt new, loved the design, the staff were great, and it was so well located. It also had conveniences like fast, free WiFi and a plug for charging cell phones/tablets. There were no big issues and we had a great stay, however the things I did miss were coffee in the room (although there was a kettle and coffee in the lobby), the pillows were a little soft for me, the breakfast wasn't amazing, but not terrible either. The restaurant itself (the DineHall) was actually a lovely place to sit :) So overall a great stay, than you ShinShin!

I stayed 3 days at the ShinShin Hotel in Seoul. The room was small. It had a king sized bed so that took up most of the room. The wifi worked with no problems. The service was outstanding. The hotel manager helped us with translation when we needed to talk to someone and she made sure that all oursightseeing arrangements were correct. All the front desk people were very helpful and spoke English. The location is close to two metro lines and the airport bus stop. I will stay here again when I am in Seoul.

For the location, value and overall experience it can't be beat. It's a little tough to find, but they can e-mail you and help you find it if needed. Wonderful Hotel!

Very good location, great staff, clean and modern room.

Stayed here earlier this month on a layover. Great hotel, with simple/modern amenities.

The ShinShin hotel is at a great location, with lots of eateries one block away (some open 24 hours), and Namdaemun Market across the street. Easy to get to with the airport shuttle bus. Location is pretty central, we were able to walk to the Namsan Park and probably easily to the shopping district as well. The staff is polite and helpful, the room is not huge, but we found the design to be very efficient, modern, clean, and comfortable . The outlets provided will accommodate most plug types. We wish we had more nights here.

Hotel ShinShin exceeded my expectations. I read dozens of hotel reviews before selecting this hotel. The service provided by the front desk staff was exceptional. Every request we made for help, from making phone calls for us in Korean, going out in the snow to get a taxi, and many requests for directions, was done quickly and politely. I appreciated that the hotel provided us with maps so we could easily navigate the neighborhood. The hotel's location is great, easy to walk to major shopping, places to eat, ATM, and 7-11. We stayed for nine days, the room was small, however we were really comfortable. The room was impeccably clean.

First of all, I only stayed one night and my room was very clean and comfortable, with warm atmosphere and stylish design for interior. As a budget hotel price but used Aveda brand as bath amenities get extra points. I lost my backpack in the airport limousine bus on the way to the hotel, and the receptionist immediately contact both of airport and bus company's lost and found office to provide assistance, even I arrived at very late night. Next morning they informed that the bag has been found and arranged me to collect the lost item in the airport. I would like to thanks for their kind help.

fantastic location. close walking distance to everything in the heart of myeondong.

Everything was great! close walking distance to everything. Very convenient

I was staying for one night and found this to be a great hotel. It was centrally located, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean.

Very nice and cozy hotel, right in the middle of everything.

Very nice details. Excellent room, tough bit small. But with everything you'll need. Airport express just less tahn half a block away.
