good location, very friendly, helpful and professional staff. The room is very clean, good bathroom facilities, the breakfast is delicious. I would recommend the hotel for your business and holiday stay.
I stayed here for 5 nights the rooms are clean .The bed is comfortable but the pillows are a bit too soft for me. The size of the room is a decent size. I requested for an ironing board in less than 5mins it already send to my room. Good service !!! Well Done!!. There are lots of Korean eateries around the area. And a few malls across the street. The airport bus does come by this hotel and if you are into shopping you can take the bus down to the shopping areas. I will recommend this hotel to friends to stay cause it clean and breakfast is good , easy to move around . Away from the crowd about 20 mins .
Very spacious Rooms; Well appointed; extremely courteous Staff; very helpful and friendly; Nice location surrounded by Restaurant options. Sumptuous Breakfast Good high speed internet in the rooms! Nicely appointed Bar to relax! Attentive Staff at the Restaurant and at the Bar! Good value for Money overall!
Stayed here for 3 nights with family as my husband attended a conference in Seoul. This hotel may not be spectacular nor ultra-popular but you surely will get your money's worth here. With all the right basics, I would consider staying here again the next time we are in town. Plus points: -Simple but well-appointed, fresh-looking, newly refurbished rooms -Clean and comfortable linen; complete amenities -Modern bathroom fixtures -It is in the Central Business District but not in the busy, touristy, noisy streets of Seoul. How lovely and relaxing it is to stroll around the hotel during cool and crisp spring days/nights. -It is right next to a subway station!!! It would be close to impossible to move around this city without using the subway! -The hotel overall has an understated classy feel, frequented by either business travelers or families/couples. -Several small restaurants around the vicinity Disadvantages: -Rooms are quite small, but adequate (not claustrophobic at all) -Far from malls or major tourist attractions -Buffet breakfast is the same for the 3 days that we stayed there -Seems to be a little undermanned. A few times, the concierge was not at his post. Also, a couple of times during breakfast, there was a shortage of attendants to clean up the tables for new guests.
This hotel cost me $80 a night and I was surprised with what it could offer. The room was refurbished and looked new. The bathroom had an advanced bidet system. The staff were amazing from house-keeping to reception to concierge. Really well done. The surrounding area was also a big plus as there were two 7 elevens on both sides of the hotel, a Mcdonlad's and a Subway across the street and a Starbucks and a Coffee Bean also on both sides of the hotel (competition is fierce). Mapo station exit three is just a minute walk from the hotel which was unbelievably convenient. The only two things I did not like were that the pillows were not so fluffy and that I stayed there during the winter so the A/C was centrally controlled and it got really hot at night that I sometimes had trouble falling asleep. Additionally, I am not quite sure if there is room service but Mcdonald's and 7 Eleven are 24 hours so I did not even ask. I stayed in February 2016.
Good hotel in Seoul city area .... Nice rooms.. not so big but good enough ..comfort stay... room supplies are good enough..... found helpful front desk people... nice resutrants near by back side of hotel.... 5-10 min drive to city center from hotel - from where you can take City bus tour
Stayed there for nearly 3 weeks for business trip. The location is okay, there is quite a lot of small restaurants around that area and it is close to Mapo station. The room is not big to be honest, but it is nice and modern. The bathroom is a bit strange, it is separated into two portions by the corridor, not particular convenient, especially my stay is really long this time.
Friendly staff very willing to assist with transportation needs. We easily travelled around city by foot, bus, taxi all based on staff guidance and recommendations. Room was quite comfortable and quiet. Nicely decorated and temperature controlled. Good WiFi in rooms as well as lobby areas. Buffett breakfast featured many local and international items from which to choose as well as fruits and breads. If you choose fried eggs, unless you like them runny you should ask for fried hard. Main floor lounge makes a fine gin martini albeit the drinks menu mentions only vodka martinis. Choices of local beers limited but Cass was served cold. Overall nice, well located hotel, for the price.
Best Western Seoul Garden exceeded my expectation as I know that most of the hotel rooms in the city are small but my room is bigger than usual. There's enough where I can put my luggages, it has a couch and a coffee table where I can I do my work. The location is also great because it is a few minutes away from the subway and has several restaurants, coffee shops, and even bars in the area.
The BW Seoul Garden hotel is very good for business trip in the central Mapo district. Rooms are spacious and very clean, staffs are very attentive and friendly. Check in was easy and quick. The buffet restaurant on ground floor is very good with a nice selection of western and Korean dishes, even the rate is a bit overpriced. Around the hotel are plenty of 7/11th, coffee shops and small bars in the back of the hotel. Transfer to airport around 45 - 60 minutes. Nice stay, thanks !
