Ramada Geneva Lakefront

Long story short hotel was worth it. Staff hardly ever said hi or bye or even have a good day.

First as a Front End Manager greeting your guest should be #1, not stand and stare at them waiting for them to initiate the conversation. Secondly, as a Front End Manager you should know about the hours of operation of your hotel. Third, you as an operator should probably check the sanitation and chlorine levels of your "pool", (I'd call it cesspool!). Fourth, let's have both your elevators working. Fifth, since you don't have a back of house elevator, let's train your employees not to curse openly in front of guests let alone anyone. How did they know I wasn't from Corporate? They surely didn't care. I've attached a picture or 2 of the so called pool. As for the staff, there was one outstanding front desk man that worked the PM shift. He just started 2 months ago and really was the saving grace of our trip. Nothing was comped, but rather he was the go to person for information. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but for the dollar amount charged, I'd expect a hell of a lot better.

Comfortable, quiet, attractive accommodations with a beautiful view.

Great staff, very friendly. Beautiful views of the lake. Unfortunately when booking through a third party like Orbitz or Expedia, there are no upgrade options available so we were only afforded a city view room.

Our room had a nice view but room was cold. bed linens, were very thin shower leaked across bathroom floor.

Great location but hotel is in need of a serious update. Check in staff were not friendly. Rugs old throughout, dirty windows as well. I would stay again for the location but I will be honest I will be checking out the Hampton down the road first

The rooms are in need of being remodeled. The carpet seemed fairly new but the bathroom was old and outdated. We noticed the room was dusty and the carpet outside of our room was in desperate need of being swept. The elevators were dirty and in need of remodeling. The restaurant at the hotel was very good.

The smell of the over-chlorinated pool mixed with the cleaning chemicals to produce an unpleasant smell in our room on the 2nd floor. The room was clean but every item in the room was bargain basement (from the very soft mattresses to the plastic bath tub). The staff left the doors to the industrial laundry rooms open giving a very unprofessional appearance to the hotel. The lake front area is under construction and the town of Geneva has certainly seen better days. We had real trouble finding an open restaurant on a Sunday night and eventually dined at a very bad Italian place (though the wait staff there were very nice). Overall, an underwhelming experience.

had a great time, bartender was excellent, morning coffee cold great location beautiful view.

The Ramada Geneva Lakefront exceeded mye expectations. The location is located on Seneca Lake close to the Finger Lakes wineries and breweries. The view from the patio overlooking the lake is breathtaking and peaceful. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again on our next trip.

Good location on Seneca Lake. Room was average. Lake view was limited as windows were small. Web site room advertised a recliner in the room(still does). The hotel has only one recliner which was not in our room. Staff and hotel manager said our reservation could not include a recliner as they had only one. The manager kept me waiting 10 minutes before offering only one day of free breakfast (our stay was 3 days).

The location is really nice but kinda old rooms. Has the air of a hotel that used to be luxurious but isn't. This is definitely more of an inn than a hotel. The bar was okay and the lake is pretty, all round ok experience

The location can't be beat, though it's not worth upgrading to a lake view. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The beds are terrible - they sag and are bowed in the middle and need to be replaced. Overall, we'd probably try another option in town next time we're in Geneva.

This beautiful new hotel is in the perfect location on the water in the center of town. The staff were so nice. I love the back patio bar with the fire pits and Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. Wouldn't stay anywhere else next time we visit!

great view, clean Hotel, walking distance into town, close to wineries

this was a great find !the location is right at the lake adjacent to a park, oppurtunity to jog, watch sunsets . Swimming privileges at nearby location down the street. This is in heart of historic downtown Geneva Ny , a charming town.Rooms are very modern and comfortable. Complimentary coffee and bagels in the morning , can be upgraded to full hot breakfast for extra charge . Great spot.

The hotel has a perfect location, rate the top of lake Geneva, central to wineries and close to restaurants. Unfortunately it was 15 degrees outside while we were there so we were not able to enjoy the lake! Overall the hotel was very nice and I would definitely recommend it.

Stayed here for a conference and was very pleased. Location on lake is beautiful and staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.

We traveled to alot of wineries and the hotel was at the perfect location to spend the night,

This was the recommended hotel for a wedding I attended. The room was available and clean when I arrived. We had no issues. There's nothing amazing going on here. It's perched on the lake, which is nice. Don't expect much to be happening in town.

Don't plan on swimming laps.
