I called to alert staff we would be arriving around 5 am and to confirm someone would be there to check us in. I arrived at 5:15 am, the front door was locked. Rang the bell, knocked and called for 5 minutes before someone came to the front. Can see that I woke them up. Checked out at 4 am. Front door locked again. No one came to door so had to leave room key between the door and left a message on VM that I checked out. Room was clean but fridge and microwave combo very outdated. Microwave had turn buttons instead of digital buttons. Face cloths were thin and discolored from wear and tear. Toilet ran. Had to wiggle the handle to stop it. TV was horrible. Horrible sound and horrible connection. Had to keep unplugging and replugging to get it to work.
We were very pleasantly surprised first by the kindness of the desk clerk and then the new and clean rooms with no bad odors!....I guess we have learned to expect the opposite while staying at the economy motels in our travels...A big thank you to these nice folks...Great Job with everything...We will be back!!!
