The whole experience was terrible. It took about 3 hours to actuall get settled into a room after being moved three times because none of the televisions worked. The electrical outlets were hanging out of the walls. The grounds were filthy and the dumpsters were overflowing with garbage bags into the parking lot. The staff was rude and never offered the help me with my bags up the stairs only to find that the television in that room didn't work as well. Over all horrible experience and huge waste of money. Will never book this hotel again

The Days Inn in Selma proved to be just what we were looking for with easy access off and on I-95. While not the least expensive option, the dog friendly amenity (up to 3 pets) was what we needed. After a 12 hour drive, the check-in was seamless, the lobby was functional and the room was as expected. It may be that the Inn was recently renovated due to new fabrics, carpet and paint. A microwave and refrigerator were in the room and the beds were firm and comfortable. The staff we encountered were pleasant and busy. The breakfast was the standard fair, with hot and cold options as well as fruit and yogurt.

While traveling from FL to PA, I needed a place to rest midway through the trip. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for one night, but I can't just lay my head anywhere. This was a nice clean hotel for me and my family to stay just one night and continue our trip next day. It's right along I-95 for quick access. I was very pleased.

Nothing special but nothing wrong, exactly what you think of with a Day's Inn. Now I will say that the rate was great and the customer service was second to none. I came with my handicap mother and they gave us a second floor room. Thinking they had elevators no problem, that was not the case. The young lady running the front saw us looking around and immediately offered a first floor room without hesitation had keys to the new room to me within 1 minute.

The hotel was perfectly suited for all my needs. I will be coming back in a month to stay in North Carolina permanently.i bought a house and will be staying here until the house is ready to move in.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very disappointed that the pool was not open and ready.....stayed the end of May. My kids could not swim after being in the car for a long time!

no elevator, room keys did not work all the time, shower pressure poor, closet rod fell. Will not stay there again. check out did not offer any apology about keys at check out.

Hard to find the motel. Has no elevator and that makes it difficult to take your items upstairs and they were dirty. Husband went to hang up clothes and the bar fell down. The stopper to the sink did not work. Had a real problem with the key to the room. If you missed the green light, it would not work again. Had to try several times. Once had to get housekeeping to let us in the room. At check out told the desk clerk who did not seem to care or apologize for the inconviencenent. Asked if we got the bill under the door and told no, and she had to print again. We will not stay at this Days Inn again.

Stay was ok once i found the hotel....address given was incorrect...had to call hotel directly for location...website address is wrong

It was a pretty good experience that was my second time ever staying in a hotel. I have no complaints. :)

Traveled 10 hours that day. Asked for a non smoking room with an extra bed 3 days before arrival. Given a smoking room - no others available and no extra bed available. My son had to sleep in a chair. Only thing OK was the breakfast.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Plus you couldn't beat the hot continental breakfast in the morning. Their was only two problems... the hair dryer was not working and we did report it but it was never changed out and because of the very hot temperatures the air conditioning leaked the last two days of our vacation. The beds were comfortable and we would definitely stay there again.

I always book a room here when I travel south from PA to FL as it is the halfway point and mainly because its the closest, decent hotel to J&R Cigars. Generally, clean and acceptable....they did forget to provide bath towels this trip...drying off with a hand towel was compromising, I could have gone to the front desk, but ehh, I was tired, not the worst thing thats ever happened....

I traveled with my 10 year old daughter for a competition on March 23rd / 24th 2012 and thought paying $95.67 for a room sounded reasonable because they had a fitness center and breakfast. I even called in advance and they told me what they had in the fitness center and what they served for breakfast. However, what they said and what was available did NOT match. The rooms were NOT clean…not just mine but others I met at breakfast. The fitness center had a bike and a treadmill which were both BROKEN. The breakfast was unacceptable! No coffee. Cereal but No milk. Even the waffle maker was broken. Bagels rock hard. All we could find that was fresh was a cup of juice and a muffin out of a wrapper. The manager did not even attempt to contact me to resolve the issues. I have contacted the corporate office twice and am not satisfied at all with their poor attempt at resolving the issue. I will never stay there again nor do I recommend anyone else.

This would have been a good value for the money except for one thing. My wife and I were in room 127 and the people in the next romm, 129, had a dog that barked all night long at the slightest sound. If their heater / AC unit came on the dog barked. If our unit came on the dog barked. If I coughed the dog barked and it barked many, many times for no reason at all. And not once did we hear the owners say anything to try and silence their dog. It was a long night with not a lot of sleep and the barking kept our dog awake most of the night. However we did, with few exceptions, keep our dog quiet..

Overall great experience. Rooms were clean but hallways were very dirty.

the pool water was green. the rooms smelled of mildew. The night desk attendant was very rude, not offering any assistance with noise control in an adjacent restaurant's employee parking lot. We had to handle it ourselves.

The hotel was great. Nice and clean. When we got there found out we booked a handicapped room. It was not listed as a handicapped room on the web sihgt. Paid five dollars extra a night in cash, which means we paid ten dollars total, to get another room. Wanted to spend a day swimming, come to find out the pool was out of order. They said it didn't meet the government standards. They need to update their web site if they are not going to open the pool. Very disappointed. But, all in all it was a nice hotel.

The Days Inn Selma is easy to get to. The gentleman working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The only downsides, for me at least are that there are very few places that deliver food to the hotel, and the refrigerator made alot of noise. If you don't mind taking a quick ride there are several restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel. The staff members were all very nice and the breakfast bar was adequate.

The hotel was average. It was clean and had internet hookup in the lobby. The free breakfast was adequate.
