Mercure Toulouse Aeroport Golf de Seilh4.0 out of 5.0

I got a room there because my flight was cancelled and I couldn't enjoy neither the golf nor the pool, but the service was very good and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent with the only drawback that the opening (6:30) time was too close to the departure of the airport shuttle bus (7:00). The quality of the room (space and cleanliness) was tip-top! Don't ask me about the price, because Air France paid for me, so it may well be that the quality to price ratio is unbalanced.
Booked for me by local colleagues this hotel was fine for my needs. Wifi worked well, breakfast was good and the restaurant , which I only used once, was OK too. Room was clean and well presented but no minibar or bottled water which was a bit inconvenient. For a work trip it was ok but take your own water back with you.
I have travelled to this hotel regularly for the last 7 years due to a specific requirement to be at this location. Other options in the specific area are limited. 25 minutes outside Toulouse this hotel specializes in Golf guests (adjacent golf course) and seminars (several large rooms). There is adequate free outside parking and a heated pool. The building is getting old and renovation overdue. Toilets can drip all night, air con / heating is hit and miss (some rooms it works, in others barely). There appear to be enough staff but a smile or the feeling you are a valued Customer is very rare. The restaurant standard is "slightly above McDonalds". (They have knives and forks). Typical experience in the restaurant - asked for a good glass of Bordeaux wine. Received an over warm (24°C wine on a cold day of 10°C) very poor wine. Asked if they had another Bordeaux by the glass (no). Asked if they had any other red wine by the glass (no) Asked if they had any red wine by the half bottle (no). As it was very apparent the member of staff was losing his patience with me (how dare I ask for red wine in a French restaurant?), I gave up. People who know the region will not be surprised by any of these deficits but I’ve been to very many Mercure hotels and this one does not meet their normal standards. Disappointing.
Tidy and clean standard chain hotel with a nice outdoor pool. Friendly and welcoming reception team. Non business guests can be a bit swamped and marginalised for service when residential conferences are held and this impacts the experience at this hotel. Parking is also a challenge as the car park is shared with the golf course. Hard to find using Sat Nav as the route took us to a blocked off road.
First of all a beautiful location near the golf and a short distance from the aeroport. Shuttle service is good (every half an hour on request) and rooms are fine and spacious. I had a short stay for business, I think the hotel is perfect for that.
Stayed during business for a couple of days. When arriving my room was smelling of womit, I complained, and immediately got a Suit as the hotel was full booked. Service is great, and personel is very attending to your needs. I look forward to returning
Great hotel - the rooms are very spacious clean and well maintained. I had a great view of the golf course. Restaurant facilities did seem a bit limited but the food was good and prices were fine. Did not get to play golf because of the weather, the course looked in good condition and the greens looked great. Club bar has a very nice setting. Pro shop was a bit sparse.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks in Oct 2015 and can simply tell you that it was a wonderful experience. Not only the hotel is really nice but what sets it apart is the Hotel staff. Every single person I interacted with at the hotel was so friendly and helpful especially Clara and Anais from the front desk were simply amazing to talk to. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit Toulouse.
This property is has a lovely golf course. Room with golf course is best like the one I had , top floor preferred Staff is very good and co-operative Quick response to cab requests. Pool is superb. good buffet spread for breakfast .
The hotel is situated, as the name suggests, in the middle of a kind of golf resort, about 10 kms from the airport. Have to say we passed it at first because there were no signs pointing us in the right direction. After a (very) late night check-in, which was nicely pre-arranged, we got a VIP drink voucher. Even though the bar had just closed, the bartender still served us the much needed drink. Thumbs up for customer service. The room was not really that big, but as it was a corner room, when I opened the curtains the other morning, I was treated to a magnificent view from both angles right onto the golf court. Room was spotlessly clean + a second door to guarantee a noise-free night. No amenities in the bathroom, just a little soapbar and one-for-all squeezer in the shower. Breakfast was not abundant, but in France they can turn nothing into a lot of something on the food level, so had everything I needed. There's a (outdoor)pool present which is a nice feature in summer, I can imagine. Checkout speedy and just. Excellent value for money.
