We like evrithing very nice for that price.
Great views of the Cathedral.
Great location, friendly staff
We had beyond our expectation experience from staying at this hotel in Segovia. We somehow manage to find the designated parking spot for the hotel inside the old city. We rolled our luggage from there to the hotel to check in. Then the staff had to move the car to their parking lot for valet, which the cost was not included in the hotel stay. Good things: 1. When we are checking in, a young man at the front desk was very helpful in explaining things with fluent English. He also suggested restaurants and landmarks, which we tried all. They were all fantastic. 2. The location of the hotel sits right in the center of the city and it's exactly at a midpoint between the Alcazar and the Aquaduct. Bad thing. 1. In the morning, we told the staff that we will be back at noon to pick up the car, but the car was not ready until 12:55 to pick up. We ended up for 55 minutes sitting there. Time is valuable when you travel this type of places, as we all know. 2. As we were waiting for the car in the lobby, the young lady who was the staff kept telling us to take our luggage and walk 2 blocks to the parking spot to meet the valet because he is on the way. If we had listened to her, we would've frozen ourselves in waiting in the cold for about an hour. The receptionist during noon was not very considerate in understanding of situation, nor to guests.
Terrific Location in the middle of the city, equidistant from the Aqueduct and Plaza Mayor+Cathdral. Alcazar is a bit forget (about 17 mins walk) Parking is off-site. Very hard to get to the hotel by car. The local police guided us through a labyrinth of narrow streets to the 3 temporary parking sites near the hotel so that we could unload our luggage, A hotel person then took our car for off-site parking, Have not yet had the breakfast here. So, cannot rate that.
I'm in my mid 20s and the old Hollywood theme of this hotel went well with the general vibe of the place. Unfortunately the piano music and design choices made me think of my grandmas house. I'd suggest this to an older crowd 100% but probably not for younger folks. At any rate, it is a really great place to stay: great facilities, welcoming staff, and perfect location.
