The Orchards Inn of Sedona

Recent guest reviews

We arrived on what was probably the hottest week in June ever. Temperatures rose to 108 in Sedona, unheard of. But our cool, clean, view-filled room was a lovely oasis. Spacious, comfortable, bright and very clean. Sadly, we did not get to enjoy the balcony and the views with the exception of late at night when the stars were out. The heat was pretty oppressive, which sadly tainted the week, but we made the most of it. The hotel is very conveniently located so close to restaurants, shops and stores. The walk-to-everything location made for such ease! Though the parking is a bit crowded, we were able to find a spot close to ourr room every evening. My only negative comment is that the main office is not staffed sufficiently. On our last evening, we arrive to our room to find that neither of our keys was allowing us entry. A visit to the main office found a busy attendant who was not answering phone calls, and asked many questions instead of simply re-activating the keys. One key deactivated could have been our fault; two keys deactivated was the office deactvating keys a night too early. An apology would have been nice instead of blaming and questioning by a young attendant. Bad customer service!

Scenic view and great location. Staff was very friendly, checked us in early and offered great advice on things to do and places to eat.

Overall this was a great place. Location, I am here for overall this was a great place. Location was great, nice breakfast, ample parking, helpful staff. I particularly liked the room decor.

e appreciated the convenience of the location, but otherwise there is nothing outstanding about the hotel. The room was "tired", the front door had a large vertical gap that streamed light in at night, there were tour bus's parked outside idling starting early in the morning and dumpsters banging most every morning. the toilet required holding the handle for awhile to get it to flush completely. Views are nice, but anywhere you stand in Sedona there is a view. We asked for a quieter location, but the front desk said there was nothing they could do. Our room service was inconsistent, sometimes not coming til 5pm, while we were getting ready for dinner. The staff tries hard at 89Agave, but the breakfast is pretty bare bones. Walk to one of the cafes, you will be happier. Sedona's location allows all the hotels to up charge to visit the area, but for the prices the room quality should be better.

Hotel was located right in the middle of many shops and restaurants. Hotel was cozy and friendly.

The view is so beautiful you won't want to leave your room! We sat on our balcony and had cocktails. It was nice to have the breakfast included. Hard boiled eggs, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juices and coffee. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Would definitely recommend. Great views, good location...... in the middle of everything. Would stay here again.

Great! It was not our first visit, but our first time on the Pink Jeep Tours, and they are super! So I would recommend that to everyone. The fudge shop across the street. There are tons of restaurants, not chains.

All staff's are excellent And very kind But improve breakfast and charge it Will be better

Had a great stay but unfortunately there was a lot of construction noise in the morning. My girlfriend and I only stayed a night to have some peace alone together but the construction in the morning ruined the peaceful windy sleep in. Normally don't complain about these things but it was a bit expensive for that one night.

Awesome! Beautiful views, nice room and great location!

The view and location are superb, which is what you are paying for. The room itself is underwhelming for the price. Bathroom had been poorly remodeled, and very small. Rest of the room was better. We were unable to check in at the specified time as the room was not ready until 90 minutes after the specified time. The hotel staff was not especially apologetic about it either. This was very disappointing. I would stay again, but would look at other options first.

We made our reservation 4 months in advance and were put in arguably the worst room in the Inn - room 107. This room on the ground floor is at the foot of the stair and all the rooms to the left have to walk in front of you to get to their rooms. Room 107 would have a view except for the two 6 foot high railings separating the walkway in front of the room from the stairs to the pool. In addition you need to keep the drapes closed to have any privacy. The acoustics aren't great which we noticed when the drunk wedding guests returned to the room next to ours at 1:00 AM. The room layout was a bit strange with the sinks outside the tub nd toilet room, but no towel bars to go with the sinks. The "free breakfast" at the Taos restaurant across the parking lot was lousy with inedible kiwi's as the fruit and overflowing garbage cans. The staff was no help in changing rooms, so in all this was not a good experience and we would not go back.

The Orchards Inn had incredible views of Oak Creek and the surrounding red rock. It was a very romantic getaway and we will definately choose this hotel again. All the staff members were very prompt with our requests. The location is excellent right in the middle of Sedona.

Great view, Great location, The Orchards Inn restaurant also had great food. we were dissatisfied with the room on the lower floor with no privacy balcony. Other wise the Orchilds Inn was a great place to stay.

This hotel is worth the price for the wonderful view out the attached balcony! It was clean, and very quiet, but the front desk had limited hours of operation. The parking lot was overcrowded, but once you parked , you could walk to shops and restaurants nearby.

There was some confusion with the checkin. I arrived early. They told me the rooms were not ready and that checkin was at 3 pm. She hinted that rooms would be given out on a first-come basis after 3pm. The hotel was booked to capacity and she didn't really see the need to dish out the customer service. I experienced a little take it or leave it attitude. The King room was very nice but not very private. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Parking was not sufficient to cover the restaurant and the hotel. The restaurant was nice but service was very slow. There are many other, very nice restaurants in the area.
