I always stay here when the Federal Way location is booked up. It's still close to my work location and closer to the airport when the time comes to travel back home. The hotel property seems a little older but in good condition. I stayed in a couple of jetted tub suites that seemed like they could use some updating on the tub area but the rest of the room was fine. I didn't use the pool but it looks like it could use a new coat of paint.

Room was old and run-down. Value didn't match expectations. Leaky sink and tub faucets. No "Do not Disturb" tag available. Noisy!

If you love trains this is the place for you! You can stay up all night watching and listening to trains as they roar by! Truly mesmerizing.

so I taking my wife my son and mother in law to visit Seattle and we chose to stay here based on the how close it was and the pictures made the place look great but not the case when we got to our room I got the executive suite with two queen beds in the pictures it show a door separating the room with beds from the living room area but sadly there was no such thing in our room and the location made us feel like we were put in corner to be forgotten. the fan would only cool off the living room area and the bedroom area stayed hot the staff were very nice though but thats about the only nice thing I have to say about our stay I could say more about the room and the price but I dont want to keep getting upset about it.

Friendly staff, exceptionally fast check in, nice location, room was clean and comfortable. Will stay there again.

The hotel was significantly lower quality than their website indicated. The room smelled bad, all the towels I used were torn or frayed, the pool water was murkey, the AC unit was old and loud, and there were old used bandaids stuck to the carpet near the bed. The one positive point was that they had a room ready and allwed us to check in at 11:00, even though check in wasn't supposed to be until 3:00. Well stay somewhere else next time.

A very nice and clean hotel without breaking the bank.

When we entered the lobby, I knew I had picked WRONG hotel. Lobby furniture was old, red carpet prob never replaced. Then we went up to our room. Had a smell to it. Furniture was old. Bed was uncomfortable and pillows probably not replaced for 10 years. Breakfast was soso. Also, trains run few times a night and if you are a light sleeper, the horn will keep you awake. I am going to stay with well known hotel chains from from now on!

We were very disappointed with the hotel room. It was dirty and the bedding looked like it hadn't been changed. We found blood spots on some of the blankets. The hotel staff was friendly.

The check in was smooth even though we were early, there were no issues. Staff was friendly, breakfast was adequate.

MOST Staff seemed friendly and accommodating. Especially the lovely girl with plumeria ..reminde The one thing that really irked me was the miscommunication between the manager and I. I was under the impression that she was more than happy :) to accommodate my request for late check out which I was told is addt'l an $50 check out fee. I told her my flight was at 5:40pm so Id be checking out at 4/4:30pm. The manager smiled and nodded her head as if it would be no problem whatsoever and as far as I I know a price was not mentioned whatsoever during our face to face conversation. Upon check-out one of the most friendly receptionist delivered the bad news that her manager who was in a "meeting" (o course) said to relay the message to me that I will be having to pay an 1/2 night stay price THEN it turned into me having to pay a full nights stay! According to the manager's words: I was told by her (the manager) that I must be checked out by 2:30pm. I really wanted to straighten this out with the "manager" but I was running super later for my flight. So I just paid the extra FULL day fee for the extra 4-1/2 hours I was there. I was so put off! Lesson learned - Don't ASSuMe! Clarify every That was a bummer. :( Too make things worse I missed my flight. I called and asked if it wad possible for me to still check back in - since i did pay for another night. But the response I got was "haha nooooooo.....you alreadt checked out......" FML. For the most part th

Very nice motel. Staff were very helpful, room was clean. There is an indoor pool, exercise and sauna. I will stay here again.

This is my first experience with Red Lion and I am really not impressed. On paper they hit every check mark with internet, pool, gym, ect. The bed and internet was about the only thing that was pretty great. The pool looked grouse (water looked questionable and it appear the hot tub was well over due for a re-plaster), the sauna did not work, consistently out of towels in the gym, my original room the A/C unit was so loud I could not hear the train next to the hotel pass, they were out of shaving cream to purchase (the only time I wasn't prepared), the cable jack for the TV was broke (got it to work after a little wiggling of the cable). Breakfast option was awesome, but the breakfast was not great. At one point there was throw-up in the hallway that took a little to get cleaned up. Staff was nice, but overall I would spend the extra cash to be more comfortable elsewhere.

Towels had black and yellow stains. Trash can had sanitary napkins from previous customers. Dirty pillow with blood stains. Staff double charged me even I paid in full at orbtiz. I think it says all.

Excellent price for a quality hotel. They have lots of free amenities like breakfast, parking, pool and gym facilities. This is an older hotel that has been 're modelled with some nice features and art deco theme.

Great value....no complaints. Other than the location this was a good value. Although I didn't use, they also have a pool and exercise room

The staff was fantastic and the hotel is nice. The cocktail hour is a great touch. We had read reviews about the trains being too loud, but we actually enjoyed them

Very basic hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Trains were a little loud.

Got this hotel for a great place, and it's easy to find. Breakfast was great, what's not to like about cereal, coffee, juice, eggs, bacon, waffles, and sausage. The only reason why we can't give it 5 stars is because the room smelled like someone had smoked in it earlier. They tried to cover up the smell with a bunch of Lysol, but still smelled like cigarettes.
