It was great. I would diffently stay there again. It is within walking distance of Pikes Market.

We loved staying at this hotel. We had a King Suite, which was very spacious and well accomodated. You can walk to Pike Place (we did). It's a little more than a mile, but a pretty comfortable walk or easy drive. The hotel staff was very nice and held our bags before and after check in. Breakfast was nice as well.

Nice location - 12 minute walk to Space Needle & 20 minute walk to Pike Place Market. I'm rating the hotel 3 Stars. The airconditioning is not working well esp on our last night - we were not able to sleep well.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten path, but their rates, staff and amenities more than make up for it. If you're looking for a place that gives a great deal more value (esp. as measured by room size relative to rate) look no further. Positives: SPACE! "Suite" really means suite here, not just "slightly bigger standard hotel room." Fully separated bedroom, kitchenette, convertible sofa and more make it ideal for families. The hospitality is out-of-this-world: terrific breakfast and afternoon reception (free beer, are you kidding me??), outstanding staff, welcoming decor and more. The property is in terrific condition; it appears to have received a recent refurbishment. Negatives: Location, kinda. If you don't mind a $6 cab ride to downtown or walking 20 minutes to Seattle Center to catch the monorail, you'll be fine. The only other "gripe" is that the beds don't rival what seems to have become the standard in mattresses at this hotel's price point. The mattress was saggy, springy and generally cheap-feeling. Comforter was thin and sheets were stiff cotton. Not bad, just not competitive with the upscale sleeping situations you'll find at most other mid-range hotels. Strongly recommend.

The location is great, very friendly staff and a very well maintained hotel

Excellent choice if you have a car. Nice view of the sound. Large Suite room with plenty of space to spread out. Only real complaint was that the kitchenette undercounter light did not have an obvious off switch

The hotel was very nice but the people at the front counter were very rude two my two daughters about the parking It was like this guy checking us in did not like people We Stayed three days at over a $1000 He ruined it at check in we will never stay at this hotel or any ones related ever again We asked to speak to manager he stated in a rude voice i am nite manager

This hotel is awesome!! The staff is the best around. Polite, ready to help at any moment , and made sure we were happy. We came to this hotel after being catfished by false advertisement from one of your competitors. We were up set and are trip was not lookin so good. The home wood suites more than made us happy. I will be staying here again seeing how I travel to Seattle twice a month or more. Thank you home wood suites awesome place to stay

Price range is very affordable. Rooms are standard, larger as its a suite. Breakfast included every morning. Best part is the location, a nice, short 10 minute walk to the Space Needle and Olympic Gardens, or 25 minute walk to Public Market.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. The hotel is in a great location to the space needle , museums and Pike's Market. The rooms are comfortable and we had a great view of the harbor. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel. Super friendly staff! Just minutes walking distance from Space Needle, Key Arena, EMP. Room was great. Got a room on the 5th floor and a view of the sound and mountains in the distance. Free breakfast was delicious and the welcome home dinner during the week was a wonderful amenity! Will definitely stay here next time!

For a group of 5 or 6, this is a great value if you're looking to stay close to the Seattle Center. It's about a 10-15 minute walk, but far enough away that finding free street parking was easy.

The staff was amazing! They did everything to make us feel comfortable, welcome & happy - even coming up with a corkscrew for an impromptu celebration in their pool room. The suite came with a very comfy sofa bed and a king bedroom with a cloudlike bed. Not a "fancy" place, but a tasty free dinner hour with good local microbrew (pike kilt lifter!) and several steps above the usual free hotel breakfast (plus 24-hour coffee/tea station, business and fitness centres) gave my group a lovely home base for exploring the Seattle waterfront and Pike Place on foot.

Nice place to stay. Very friendly staff. Close to attractions.

I had a short stay at this hotel. The Staff everywhere in the building was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again on my next visit. Good location for great selection of food places. This hotel is about 25 minutes from the airport.

Large, comfortable suite with bedroom nicely separated from living area. Reception on Monday to Thursday provides a full dinner with beer and wine for free. Full breakfast buffet included.

Overall, we were very pleased with our week-long stay. The staff was kind and helpful Our room was clean and the breakfast was filling. We took advantage of the free dinner and drinks to save money, but compared to breakfast, dinner left something to be desired. There were only a couple of disappointing things about our room. The room description indicated this was a bayview studio suite. The hotel is actually a couple of blocks up from the bay and you can just barely make out the bay between two buildings and a bunch of powerlines. Because the hotel is triangle shaped, the room, while spacious, had the furniture awkwardly placed making the dresser unusable because it was so close to the bed. We were worried about stubbing our toes when going between the bed and dresser. It was not a traditional suite, but a studio suite. The room description is a bit misleading/contradictory. I would stay at this hotel again mainly because the location was great and the staff was pleasant.

Fairly good location. It's walkable to downtown and the waterfront area / piers (thought not a short walk - maybe 30 minutes). It's also close to Kerry Park which has a truly great view of the city. It was close to the office I was receiving training at which was convenient. There are a few restaurants close by (Tini Bigs is good), and several bus stops. I didn't really use any of the amenities or eat breakfast or their welcome home dinner...I usually went out to restaurants. Internet was free and worked pretty well. My room didn't have a safe (I didn't expect it to, but its always nice when they have those). Not sure how they handle parking, I just used public transit (which was perfectly adequate for getting around Seattle and to the airport) I checked fairly thoroughly for bed bugs, because I'm a little paranoid about that. I saw no signs of anything. Everything was pretty clean...didn't actually see any bugs at all.

Went there to go to pike place market crab pot and mariners game... Location was great everything was less then 10 mins from hotel

Front desk said the order for our room was screwed up. We ordered bay view, two double beds, nonsmoking. We were told we could have a king & a roll away or king & sofa bed. All three of our party have bad backs so that was not going to work. I was told that was all they had. Once I ask who should I file my complaint with they found us a room with the bed configuration but no view. This hotel is in a great location but it looks like it might need some TLC or a manager that needs to stay on top of keeping things up. Loved how housekeeping cleaned the halls at 9:30 pm.
