Front desk clerk stayed late to check us in very late, due to delayed plane. Thank you.

We were right downtown and close to a very nice restaurant. It was quiet, in spite of all of the construction going on. Very nice swimming pool and exercise room. Good hot breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea. It was a very pleasant stay and the beds were comfortable.

Hotel was very convenient--walking distance to town, space needle, Chully Glass, Etc. Staff was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. The desk called cabs for us to go to Pikes Market and the Bainbridge Ferry. Using the maps the staff provided when we checked in we were able to walk back to the hotel from the Aquarium and Sculpture Garden. We had a great first time visit to Seattle.

Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. We were very close to the Space Needle and the neighborhood was safe. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. If we are ever back in Seattle, I would stay at this hotel again.

Fitness center had more equipment than most. Breakfast was better than most. Street side of the hotel was a little noisy, but I kinda expected that.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Seattle is in a great location and close to lots of landmarks or a cheap Uber ride away. You get what you pay for at this hotel compared to other nicer hotels. The elevators are really slow, the walls are thin and you can hear other peoples conversations in the hallway from your room. The beds are not as comfortable as you might find in a Marriott or Hilton, but you pay for that. Its a great budget hotel, but you won't be blown away by it. The breakfast was so-so, but its free. I'm happy with our stay, but it was about on par for what I expected for the price we paid.

Nice location. Parking fee is high but comparable to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was good.

Great stay in a great city People in Seattle are polite and helpful, which was not always the case in neighboring state.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Seattle center and because it had a pool. We were disappointed that the pool was closed.

Great room with a view ... great breakfast ... Very nice staff ... Inexpensive limo to the airport

Nice hotel. It cost $10 by taxi to Pike's market. We used the train to go to Chinatown and other attractions. We'll be back.

PROS: Hotel itself is nice. Rooms are clean. WiFi works. In room k cup coffee. Good continental breakfast included. I did not have time to use them, but the workout room and pool looked ok though a bit on the small side. CONS: hotel is about 10 to 20 min walk from convention center. Would be walkable to space needle. I actually enjoyed the walk, but if weather had been bad, might have been an issue getting to convention center. Main con is that downtown Seattle is just kinda gross, but that is not particular to this hotel . I happened to be there during mayday 2016 riot, but even after that was over, it reminded me of new York pre-Guliani: aggressive pan handling by homeless drug addicts, people passed out on sidewalk, open drug use and sale in front of cops, average tattoos per capita was probably more than 2... nevertheless, this hotel still gets 5 stars because it was no worse in this respect than the rest of the downtown hotels including some that were double the price. In fact some of the swanky neighborhood near my friends hotels were worse. Mayor and chief of police should be impeached. Bottom line: if you need to go to Seattle, and the distance from downtown center is acceptable, this is a good clean hotel with a good breakfast at a good price.

I arrived to the hotel with my family and was excited to see our room. Upon arrival we noticed the bed sheets were turned down. Looking more we noticed a dirty wet towel on the bed. As I called the front desk and looked around the room and saw trash everywhere I realized the whole room was not cleaned! They changed our room but did not upgrade or reimburse us. They also told us that they did not provide a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We ended up paying for a rental car but it turns out they have a town car that will take you from the airport to hotel again, no reimbursement for their error. They did have a full breakfast which was good.

My husband and I needed a place for one night prior to an Alaskan cruise. The Holiday Inn Express was very convenient to the cruise port and close to Seattle attractions. Since we arrived too early for normal check-in, the desk secured our luggage in a locked area which allowed us to do a little sightseeing. We were able to visit the Space Needle prior to our dining reservations in the restaurant atop the Needle. It was a wonderful experience. When we reached our room we could see the Needle from our window. The view was great! The desk staff was very helpful with obtaining a shuttle to the cruise port the next morning. They were all very friendly, polite, and professional. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The staff there was likewise as friendly and professional as the desk staff. I would highly recommend Holiday Inn Express & Suites. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Seattle. Thank you for a great stay!

Comparable price, nice location, free breakfast and pools. It would be even better if it has a hot tub, since many other holiday inns seem to have. But otherwise, it has almost everything we need and don't provide extra stuff that costs money.

When we arrived in our room it wasn't prepared yet, bed wasn't made and bathroom not cleaned. Waited 20 minutes at the front desk for a new room finally they finished cleaning the room. the front desk staff was very apologetic and insisted he will give us points in our rewards but after 2 points was still not in my card.Around 6 the following morning the fire alarm went on but was a false alarm. Good location at SPace needle though.

More than anything els, the staff made our staying so happy, from the font desk manager to every staff that their hospitality spirit is above and beyond which we do not experience so easily now-day and anywhere we travel. We could stay many more days if our schedule were allowed. We'd love to go back this same hotel again when we go back to Seattle WA.

My family arrived Seattle from Taiwan to visit us. i'd like to have comfortable hotel for their 1st night to have great rest. it's so clean and nice hotel and convenient to the city.

Great location and value. It was a central location to all the attractions we wanted to see and was not too far from great food. Would stay here again if we ever came back to Seattle. FYI, near seems like the only gas station around was the one right near the hotel.

We were amazed at the convenience of the location to all of the sites we wanted to visit - and we had a spectacular view of the space needle from our room! The staff was great and helped us with a shuttle to the Mariners game almost as soon as we walked in the door. I would stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to rate our hotel! We understand that the parking fee can be frustrating, which is why we pride ourselves in being one of the most reasonably priced in the city, and do our best to meet our guests needs. We hope you will visit us again! Sincerely, Lindsay H. Guest Service Manager
