Checked in at 11pm and hat to leave at 3am. The room was full of bed bugs and my son and i got bitten 6-7 times each. 5 days later and i still have swollen skin bites. Awful experience, highly advise you to spend a couple of extra $$ as there are many affordable options around SEA
Nice stay, great price for quick last minute reservation
My husband was in the restroom in our room and saw bedbugs on the floor. He complained to the hotel staff and was told that the people before him hadn't said anything. My husband asked for another room and he got another room. The hair dryer didn't work either.
Very near to airport, breakfast could have been better
Will definitely stay here again. Clean rooms and facilities.
I've stayed at quite a few dog friendly hotels in this area at the same price point. This was pretty close to the worst, in my opinion. Pros: -friendly staff -Close to airport with a shuttle -free breakfast, except that the juice machine was out of order -clean bed linens Cons: -Everything but the linens was pretty gross. Hair in the bathroom, etc. -Building is in really bad shape with ongoing repairs (or at least I hope they aren't done) -No soundproofing. Be prepared to hear your neighbors.
Got a smoking room when I needed non smoking. Bathroom had a whole the size of a baseball in the ceiling. Would not stay here again.
The rooms really need to be kept up and there is no free breakfast just cereal and waffles.
Near the airport but poor service and amenities. This location is in a questionable area.
An average hotel with quick easy access to SEATAC airport. Shuttle service was efficient and friendly.
This hotel is some way from Sea-Tac Airport. It's closer to the Tukilla-International Boulevard Light Rail station than the Sea-Tac Airport one. The rooms are cramped and the breakfast is rudimentary. Obviously, the best aspect of this hotel is its price but I think that going slightly upscale might be worth the increment.
Cable channels mostly not available, refrigerator needs bar to secure bottles upright, carpet slight odor, 2 days of trash build in breakfast area (lobby) needs empty..otherwise a good visit. Our purpose was to relax and rest.
We got in late from the airport, needed an over night before driving home. For this purpose the EconoLodge was OK. We got to our room down the dark hall and stayed in our room. I don't think there would be anywhere we'd want to go and everything seemed closed down. With some fiddling we got the tv to work. The bed linen is thin and an edge was torn. The area did seem quiet for sleeping.
Most hotels at Seatac were booked but I was still disappointed to have requested a no smoking room and having to sleep in heavy smoke smells. Also, we requested a 9:30 shuttle and were told we could only go at 9 or 10 and then the shuttle would not take us to our gate. Maybe that is airport rules, but it cost us a lot of effort carrying boxes and children and renting a cart. I don't think the driver spoke English so he never explained his refusal.
We stayed in the Econo-Lodge Sea-Tec because we spent one day looking around downtown Seattle (the bulk of my trip was not in Seattle). The Hotel looked a bit shabby from the outside, but inside wasn't too bad. The lobby was basic, and the waitstaff were nice. Our room was a lot nicer than I originally thought it would be. The bathroom had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot (I was quite surprised to see all of those items were included in our room!). The bathroom was nice, and the room was clean and well put together. The curtains were wrinkly and the view was cruddy - no biggie. The ice machine down the hall was broken = :( No detection of cigarette smoke in our room (thank goodness). Overall it was perfect for what I needed; a simple quick stay overnight that was comfortable.
Terrible: This place was disgusting and pretty much left me with a personal and business decision not to stay and any choice hotel brand again. When I arrived to check in which was just before 11pm at night, the clerk asked me to wait while she checked my room, a few minutes later-- the room was four doors away--- she returned. I asked "why my room would not be ready as it was an online reservation"? She said oh we had some guest in there that checked out early and I just needed to make sure your room was ready! Check out time 2:00 pm? The mirros were broken, there were no amenities, the electrical reciticals in two locations were out of the wall, the beds could not have cost more than a hundred dollars a piece and the pillow looked as if they were used for a decade. Note I am not prude or uppity up,,, just expect a well taken care of room for a fair price. This room was the second worst room I have ever stayed in and I have extensively traveled for business for more than 20 years. I can't properly describe my experience there with the limited space I have. Other than to say exhausting as I did not sleep out of disgust and aggrivation.
Just needed a place to sleep before hitting the road in the morning. In that way it was decent, but it smelled smoky. I was too tired to care. Couldn't have put up with it more than one night though.
The Motel is only a few miles from downtown Seattle, with a bus stop only a few feet from the main entrance Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Though located on a main road the rooms are quiet. The breakfast offered leaves a lot to be desired, but as I'm not a breakfast-person I didn't mind too much.
I get to this location to walk in as the man behind the counter was yelling at the customer in front of me. Not very Professional!! I waited for 10 min. to check in while he then proceeded to yell at his help. He then was Very RUDE to me as to checking in. Charged me 20 deposit. The room was dirty. Hair was in the shower and the lock on the door was broken!! Kinda imporant feature I feel! I am not a picky person, nor do I complain, but WOW!!! I did call and make a formal complaint to the motel. I simply will never stay there again! I was there for my dream concert and traveled 10 hours and was not expecting to be yelled at.
