We stopped here while traveling through. It was clean and affordable and easy to find. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic, but hot. They had yogurt, powdered eggs and fruit. The coffee was good.
I made reservations for the Econo Lodge and let them know we would not be arriving until after midnight. When we arrived, the man at the front desk(we woke him up) looked at my reservation and said, "this is next weekend".....UGH!! Totally my fault!!! Fortunately for me, he got us 2 rooms and was very kind about the whole thing. The rooms were clean and very adequate for a short night's stay. Breakfast was also good. Nothing spectacular, but just fine. Everything was very clean and comfortable.
I will be up front on this. at the regular rate, this hotel would be okay. However, due to not getting an early reservation for graduation weekend, the price I paid was more than $55 more than the normal rate. (Not the motel's fault, you charge what you can get). For the "graduation weekend" rate, the motel was very underwhelming. Had I paid the normal rates it would be acceptable. Grounds are sparse and I didn't check out the pool (which was pretty small). But the common areas were very clean. The room was clean and the air conditioning was adequate and not too noisy. Shower was adequate in temp and water volume, but a little small. Bedding and towels were clean. Breakfast was a bit below average. It was about what you can expect for the (normal) price range.
Looked for an inexpensive place for one night while visiting our Aunt in the hospital here. Found the Econolodge to be clean, comfortable and with a free breakfast, SCORE. The rooms are very spacious and beds comfortable.
The rooms are large and clean. The service is great, they always have our room ready when we get there. There is a shopping center with in walking distance. Restaurants are also within walking distance. Great place to stay.
the staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean and seem to be up to date. The hotel is in a very good location with easy access to the college and shopping. The parking area is very well lit at night.
The owner was REALLY nice and helpful for little things I needed. He made sure that no other guest was adjacent to mine, at least until the last night, which was helpful for me. The accommodations were great and the location was fairly removed from any busy streets, so if my kids came with me there was a field on either side of the hotel for them to play in if desired.
I was tired and passing through Searcy when I decided to stay there. I had never stayed at the Econo lodge, but it was the most economical in town so I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was nothing special. Overall a great deal for the dollar.
Tony(owner) is a great host! Couldn't have asked for a more attentive, generous hotelier.....I was there on business for 6 days, had 7 rooms for the stay and each of us were treated well....clean rooms, comfortable beds....best value
I usually don't stay at an Econolodge since they are on the lower end of hotel quality. With my AC going out at the house K and I were forced to go to a local hotel for the night. The top end hotels were twice the cost. We arrive at the hotel around 11:00pm and had to do the transaction via a security window. The desk clerk appeared to have been asleep and greeted me in a t shirt, shorts and barefoot which was not professional IMO. Now for the room: it was quiet, clean, cold and good for the price. K had trouble sleeping on the mattress. She said it was too hard. I slept well. Breakfast was minimal: eggs were not good, sausage was good, waffles were good and OJ was cold and good. Average stay tonight! Not great and not bad!
