An older but comfortable hotel with historical connection to the area. Several small and charming touches such as a bud vase with fresh flowers placed in the room, affirmative art boards and a foosball table for guest use. A wonderful restaurant and Delicious Orchards are right diwn the street.
I was expecting more for an 8.6 rating. This seems to be a place people stay for a short visit. Still, the rooms are very dated. The mattress had a thick plastic cover on it rendering sleeping a noisy endeavor. Not sure how they could expect somebody to sleep on it. Took it off. Air system worked fine, but it's old. Thin walls. People walking above me in their room woke me up. Property is clearly aged. Breakfast was fine. They are trying with amenities, but many updates are needed. Showers are very old. Wifi needs better protection for working.
The staff was kind and the entryway was beautiful! The room itself was clean and tge area was safe. Overall it was a fine place to sleep for a few nights, but there could definitely be repairs. The pictures are quite misleading. They show a beautiful resort like hotel. The reality is their sign is warped, faded, and peeling, and each window has a large air conditioning unit hanging out of it. There was paint peeling in our room, and a small hole next to the toilet paper roll. Again, fine place to rest your head (though the bed could stand to be more comfortable) but it is in need of real repairs.
Quiet, clean well maintained and friendly. The continental breakfast was just right.

Property was great! The room was comfortable and clean. Small personal touches such as the fresh cut rose by my bed was appreciated. Definitely a good place to stay.
Great historic hotel on country road. Large room with updated bathroom. Take in a show in Red Bank and stay overnight. Perfect
Comfortable /vintage, like stepping back in time.
Coming for the third night this month… Beautifully decorated, affable and smiling staff. What’s not to love?! The place is immaculately clean, front desk people make you feel welcomed and celebrated in your first 30 seconds. These guys have people skills I tell you that! Anyway, the old western feel adds charm and uniqueness to the place, and it’s people the warmth that’s is so needed when you travel nowadays…
I spent one night, then choose to add another night because I had to stay in the area. Bottom line I could look for another place if there was anything unpleasant about that hotel… but no. Clean, quiet, very friendly staff. There was a woman in the morning complaining and yelling at the manager. But she had KAREN written all over so I guess… Anyway would definitely book again
This is a unique hotel that has a great staff and is affordably priced. It is not the most modern and it does not have the most bells and whistles and it feels like more of an "inn" than a hotel. It's an old style antique kind of place so one person could say it could use a little updating while another person could say it is charming. It is clean and safe and you will be treated like royalty by the staff. Everyone was attentive and friendly and, although I'm more accustomed to modern 5 star places and I was considering changing my reservation, I'm glad I didn't. The place grew on me as the week went on and I would gladly stay there again.
