Bugs in the room

Price and location

It's obvious they have given up on maintaining the property. Bathroom ceiling water damage still unrepaired, baseboards rotted out in several places, tub not working, TV remote broken. No more breakfast "due to Covid." Weeds growing around the property give the impression the place was abandoned long ago. My overall feeling is that they have decided to close the place down and are trying to generate some revenue before doing so, which is evident in the high prices they still charge.

The only thing wrong? Was they advertised on their outside by the highway sign that they offered a free hot breakfast. When you went to check in, there was a sign saying there wasn’t going to be a breakfast offered. Which isn’t a big deal for me, but it may be a big deal for others.

Nice spacious room and comfy bed. Friendly check in.

Recently renovated, mostly clean and comfortable, but on day 2they didn’t clean my toilet. The desk clerk was most apologetic and took care of the problem. There is NOTHING for a person with celiac disease to eat!

The jetted tub did not work and the bed was to soft (older mattress). The toilet was not secure to the floor. The hotel adjusted my bill .

Personnel were very friendly. Breakfast was disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I also wrote a review on travelacety. I would stay here again.

I had a quick trip to the area and typically stay in Scottsboro so I booked the Red Roof Inn. I've stayed here before and it was decent and some of the rooms remodeled. I wasn't looking for high end, but a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable, renovated, clean and reasonably priced and had free WiFi. My only complaints were that I was given a room on the front (facing the main road) and on the first floor, despite having asked for a high floor not facing the road on the reservation. It was a bit noisy and we had to keep the fan running all night to drown out the road noise. Not much I could do to damped the sound when the guests staying above me decided to rearrange furniture at 4 am.

For the price, this was a good selection. Close to restaurants and scenic areas.

Just stayed for one night. Everything in very good condition. Breakfast was good but the clerk could have been better keeping food supplied without us asking
