After long drive we checked in by smile face front desk person . Room is very clean and comfortable. Beds ware very comfortable . WiFi is good too . In morning, they provide verity and hot food in breakfast. It was nice stayed . Definitely , we will stay here when we drive through this town .
This hotel was a very great place to stay at the half way point of our trip. Nice hotel, pet friendly which is always important to us because we have fur babies. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would stay again.
I absolutely loved the jacuzzi in the room. It's wonderful to lay in the tub after a long day of traveling! The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Upon entering the room it had an odd smell, luckily we travel with Febrezze. Second, you cannot fully open the bathroom door to get in because of the large metal outside door that hits the toilet. The vending machines for drinks were sold out and the snack machine had a sign on it. As we took our service dog out we continued to be watched by the managers wife... very unsettling. As we checked out w/the manager he denied ever claim we made and never once said “I am so sorry.” I would not recommend a stay here!
We just spent three nights at the Quality Inn Fort Payne. Check in was easy. Request for ground floor honored. Clean exterior, clean interior, clean room. Coffee available day and night (I don't sleep much - so a nice cup of coffee at 2 a.m. was a luxury). Outdoor pool and area was clean. Smoking bench off to side of entrance so as to not bother non-smokers. (Thank you for the nice bench - some hotels forget that they are still smokers - not all smokers are nasty smokers - some of us keep the area clean and even clean up after nasty smokers). The flowers and shrubs were very neat and well kept. The railroad tracks are across the street but I did not hear it while I was in my room. A guest washer and dryer is available. It is $1.50 per load. Nice touch to wash swim wear and beach towels after dip in pool. Love the fact that I didn't have to bring home wet clothes and towels. The only reason that I gave the hotel a 4 instead of a 5 is because my husband said the bed was entirely too hard. This is from a retired military man who can sleep any where. The manager (I think also owner) was super nice and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel. If you feel like the bed is too hard, tell the manager the first night - please don't wait until check out like my husband did. My opinion on the bed, yes, it was hard but the room, hotel, hallways, breakfast area, etc. was CLEAN. That is what is important to me. Recommendation: San Jose Mexican Restaurant near hotel.
We stayed here one night. The hotel seems relatively new, and furnishings and bedding are very up-to-date. The room offered all the key amenities. I thought the mattress and bedding were extremely comfortable, but my husband did not find it the same. The breakfast was ample. Staff was friendly and responsive. The only negatives were there was a slightly mothball-like odor in the lobby and there could be more attention to detail in cleaning. Some of our washcloths were very dingy looking; and there were some stains on the door and bed cover that a maid should have seen and addressed.
Great value. Nice enough. Room was clean. Easy access to interstate. Good restaurant—steakhouse—nearby. Staff was pleasant. Close to Little River Canyon—a MUST SEE! Drive the scenic drive thru the park.
We were traveling to Pigeon Forge and called for a room at this motel. They had one upon arriving discovered that it did not have an elevator. Our rooms was on the second floor. It was very difficult for me to get to our room. The next morning we went down at 8:30 and the attendant was begging to close down the breakfast bar. He stated that he thought that the rush was over. The room was comfortable and very clean.
Old hotel, renovated rooms. New beds, tub, counters, flooring in an old hotel which shows some wear on the walls. We were pleasantly surprised. Haven’t been to the breakfast yet so the rating could change. If they finish the renovation, it’ll get that extra star!
The room was clean and well appointed . Price was right. Breakfast was good. Staff was super friendly. This place is a hidden gem, off the beaten path but close enough! We will be back when we are in the area again.
