The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Wonderful customer service. It was a good hotel for the price. The room looked like it was recently painted and the bathroom recently renovated but corners seemed to have been cut. There where areas on the walls that have been mudded over but instead of sanding, it was just painted over. The tub drain stop was broken and the sheets had a stain on them. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but for the price of the room, it was decent.
Great hotel, but we were disappointed that our grandchildren couldn't swim in the pool with us. They were from the Wausau area also.

It is in a good location, always near where we need to go. The staff is always very nice. The young man at the desk was wearing a blazer, very impressive.

I put in five people and the site says it accommodates 5 but then I only get one room and I’m told I’ll have to pay more once I get here. They had me linked with a hockey group staying here and their credit card on my account even though I set up the reservation through orbit. We made the room work by having one of my kids sleep on the couch cushions on the floor but it we we expecting at least 2 beds for 5 people :/
Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable.
It was in a good location for our trip. The price was good. They have veterans parking which my husband used. The staff were friendly and prompt. Of course it was the middle of the week and few people. The only downside was the dark fingerprints on the wall near the tub. The bed was comfortable and the pillows typical of most hotels.
Loved the set up of our room! And the colirs! Made me feel at home. The bed sucked, but I think we are a little too spoiled by our beds at home....

We would recommend staying at the Country Inn & Suites Wausau at 1520 Metro Drive, Schofield,WI.54476. Very clean,great staff and lots of places to eat. Wausau is 15 minutes away.Excellent place to stay!!!
Property was clean and the breakfast was great. The beds and pillows were comfy. WiFi was pretty fast.
Very welcoming from check-in to check-out. The lady at breakfast was so kind and said "Hi" with a few exchange conversation as she was so happy seeing the girls all dresses up in their tradition outfit for dancing early in the morning.

Nice place to stay. Convenient location for us. We've always had good service and friendly staff. The tissue and toilet paper could be softer. :) But overall the rooms are very nice.
Good value for the rate. Mattress comfort was less than desireable. Great little pool and hot tub!
