The house dating from 1870, located in the heart of a wine-growing hamlet in the charming village of Savennières, is ideal for a stay for two, in the heart of Anjou.

The cottage consists of a 20m² living room on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room.
On the 1st floor, you will find a bedroom with a 140x190 double bed, a library and a bathroom with bathtub, toilet and washing machine.

Adjoining the owners' house, the gîte has a separate entrance with courtyard. An electric barbecue is at your disposal.

Take some time during your stay to discover the island of Béhuard, 5km from the gîte, this town classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, is the only town to be an island on the Loire. A small town of character with many charms, you can come and eat in its creperie, have a drink at the tavern, visit the small royal chapel or simply take a walk and tour the island on foot.

For lovers of great Loire wines, come and discover the Château des Vaults, located 5 minutes from the gîte. During a guided tour, stroll through the castle park and its vineyard, and taste the estate's different wines with rare and surprising flavors.

Fancy a little stroll? Take advantage of the hiking route “from the Perche to the Loire”, the 80km which cross the region are punctuated by crossings of small villages which make it an ideal way to discover Anjou. The route passing only 200m from the gîte, it is very easy to make one or more stops during a day.
