I’d read the reviews before I booked this hotel, lots of the reviews said it’s dirty and the responsed from the hotel was “it’s under renovation.” So I gave it a benefit of a doubt but when I checked in the carpet in the room was so dirty and wore out, the sheets and comforter got hairs on them ( that tell you the bed sheets didn’t get changed only straighten out). So I notified the front desk and the girl gave me new sheets so I can changed out. Didn’t offer new room or anything. In the morning I checked out the Indian guy checked me out he didn’t even asked how was my stay or good morning at all. Just asked my room # checked me out and that’s it, not friendly at all... I took only couple of photos of hair and there’re more hair on bed that I didn’t take and I didn’t take photo of dirty and wore out carpet and other stuffs...

The staff was well trained and accommodating. The hot breakfast was quite good, but a little slow to replenish. My only complaint would be for a hotel with a pool and such a close proximity to the beach there should have been more space in the restroom for one to hang up wet swimsuits and towels to dry.

Staff is friendly, upgraded us to King suite, breakfast is nice. Hotel is in convenient location. Suites would look more welcoming if not for somber gray color on walls. Will definitely stay there again.

Toilet wasn't working properly. A roach was in our room. Everything else was okay but for me that was to much.

This is my new favorite place to stay when traveling from Savannah. The rooms are comfy, there is coffee available 24 hours a day, the stand is outstanding and the general warmth of the hotel is very inviting. I love the couch by the fireplace in the rocking chairs on the front porch.

Wonderful experience. As a past employee of a Ritz Carlton, I am rating it right in their category. Staff excellent, they took pictures for us, have extra amenities when asked, knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Cookies fresh in lobby. Breakfast not to our likes but there were people in there eating. If you like whole fruits, coffee, making your own waffles. Then your good. We like meat. Must have sausage, bacon, or scrambled eggs. This is not a motel all rooms are inside with beautiful clean carpets. There are elevators and stairs. Absolutely loved the smell of bleach. I use it myself. I hate these companies that are going green. I now work in the medical field and believe me we use Clorox and bleach. Room was very clean. No wholes, no odor, tub clean, no little hairs on floors. Mattress protectors on the mattress and the box spring no dirt or debris between cabinets. Fridge and microwave both clean. Great stay. Two big mall about 3 to 5 mind away. Applebees, Chili's and fast foods all near by. Tybee Island in one election 10 mins and Farmers Market other dirc 10 mins. Night life and shopping.

We spent 3 nights in Savannah. The hotel was centrally located so we could easily navigate to all our destinations. We spent our days on the beach (15 miles away) and our evenings walking to shops and restaurants near the hotel. The pool area has a nice size pool and whirlpool tub but the chemical used in the whirlpool was too strong and we all ended up getting watery eyes and sneezing our first night. We didn't use it again. During our stay the hotel was short staffed and our room was not "cleaned" the entire time we were there. We still like the hotel and will consider staying there again the next time we visit Savannah.

Complained 3 separate times about water not being hot in the rooms. Was told it would be taken care of each day we were there. The last night I was informed it was hotel "policy" to have tepid water, as having warm water was a liability. Hmm, don't they rent rooms to adults? Apparently adults don't know how to adjust water. Funny thing is, there was a hot tub steps away from our rooms with very hot water in it. The night desk staff I spoke to said he tried calling our room to let us know of the "policy" earlier in the day and received no answer. I told him of course he didn't receive an answer as we came to Savannah to see the town and not stay in our room all day. I informed him he could've left a note or called my cell, my number was on the form filled out to receive my room key. Asked to speak to a manager the next morning and was told that wouldn't be a problem. When we checked out, suddenly there wasn't anyone we could speak to about the problems. A very disappointing experience. Also, the hotel is located directly across the road an Army base--not disclosed in description--and the planes leaving shake the ground floor windows.

Smoke alarm beeped for about 1 hour- no on could fix it. Finally my husband did. Then at 1 am it started beeping again but the desk took 30 mins to find a new battery!

Hotel and staff was very nice would definitely stay here again

We stayed this past weekend. We selected this hotel bc it was one of the few with an indoor pool and also had a private bedroom in the suite which is great bc we put the kids on the sleeper sofa and can have a little peace and quiet in our room. Pool is small but works for splashing around. Breakfast is typical hot breakfast but good and filling. On Monday we actually had omelets. I'm sure they were frozen and heated but were still very good. Lots of restaruants within a mile or so. We also liked the free cookies that were served most of the day. About a 15 min drive to the historic area downtown

Mr Patel was very nice and acommidating, very professional. He's the King of Patel, worthy of his title of King. I hope to see him again.

It was good...indoor pool in November made it better than others

My stay was good. Comfortable room.The staff was friendly.The breakfast had a good variety but the eggs had a wet taste and waffle mix was water down.

the rooms should have been cleaner around the toilet was dirty and the furnace or whatever kicked on every half an hour was loud and would wake me from my sleep every night. They were also kidsor teenagers running up and down the halls on 2 different nights.

The front desk clerk was very nice and the free breakfast was better than average

Room was dirty, linens were torn, bathroom was moldy, pool area was rusty, our room had only 3 small drawers-too small for our clothes.

We arrived and were taken to our room early. We made numerous trips to the historic district. We traveled looking at houses also. Everything was so accessible from the hotel. We even printed our boarding passes after we checked out. This was one of our best trips to date.

The location is not the best although it is on a major bus line. Travelled by cab due to heat. Good pool and spa. Was told corporate told them to keep FOX news or weather channel on Breakfast room TV. Breakfast very good. Complained about FOX news and staff handled it very well and someone discreetly changed it to Good Morning America. Country Innns and Suites Corporate should be told to avoid FOX news as it is not mainstream enough. Commentator called women girls on national TV. Local staff, however, handled the situation in an excellent manner and made the stay much better. Ordinary but decent experience, better than average pool and spa.

dirty hotel

nice hotel w/good proximity to attractions/beach

The staff was well trained and accommodating. The hot breakfast was quite good, but a little slow to replenish. hotel staff aren't helpful and cold water

great room. kids loved the pool.
