Best Western Plus North Savannah

Stayed at this hotel while fleeing north from Hurricane Irma, and then returning south one week later. First stay was uneventful and comfortable (no issues). Second stay was disappointing due to room being uncleanly (visibly soiled furniture), and bathroom in bad shape (toilet loose from floor, shower piping installed loose) + (dirty bath towel and visible mold growing on bathtub caulking). Since we arrived very tired, and did not check room as usual, these issues we evident after it was too late to address (already in pj's and trying to rest). Hopefully, after having let the front desk know next morning, the following guests won't have to be inconvenienced.

Went to breakfast and both the juice machine and coffee maker were broken. Staff seemed surprised when guests asked for coffee. Room was clean but nothing special.

Our room had a broken toilet. When we first asked for a different room with working faculties, we were told none were available. Thankfully I am pretty handy and made it work. Breakfast was ok the first two mornings, the third day left us feeling a little off about their cleanliness. The employee had on sanitary gloves, which would normally be good, except that he was pushing trash down and then stirring the food around, without changing his gloves or washing his hands. Each morning we were woke up by the maid service even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. When we checked out I asked to speak to a manager, this was my third attempt at talking to one. I was once again told there was no manager on duty. Apparently there is never one on duty to talk to customers. The only positive I have for this hotel was it was conveniently located near our destination.

It would have been nice if it was actually a Wingate! It's a Best Western!

Nice breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet setting. Would stay there again.

Quick bed for the night conveniently located. Would use this hotel again in a heartbeat

I wanted a hotel affordable for my visit to Savannah. Staying downtown was out of my budget. This hotel is only 15 min from MLK Blvd. Very clean and friendly. The price is within a reasonable budgeted vacation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is ultra modern with up to date amenities and a good breakfast service. The room temperature control was weird, it didn't set temperature and was either full-blast air conditioning (61 degrees F) or off. Otherwise okay and close to the highway.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast bar was amazing and the customer service was very pleasing.

Staff very helpful. Good breakfast. Right off the highway.

Very Disappointed. After the first 15 minutes, I felt like I was at a $49 per night hotel, not a Wingate at a much higher rate. Here are some issues - * First room, the heat didn't work * Next room bathroom had used soap, hairs, a used glass in it. * Faucet was loose, not anchored down or caulked * Only had two towels, needed three sets * No plastic bag in Ice bucket * Big water puddle by Ice Maker in hall * Bottle Caps on the carpet - didn't look cleaned. * TV Channel listing in the three ring binder is wrong - they changed providers and don't tell the guests. * Hotel Lobby, hallways were being remodeled - dirty, unpleasant, unexpected at these rates. I expected more for these rates, from this hotel chain, and was not able to comfortable relax after a day of driving. I would not recommend this particular hotel, or their management, nor the Wingate chain - based on my experience.

I'm not the kind of person that likes to complain! As Veteran and small Business Owner, I normally appreciate everything in life ! The Complete renovations that was happening at this location put a negative taste in my experience!

toilet was not working, no iron, shower head was filthy room service didn't provide fresh towels, hallway was nasty and the smell was terrible, the walls are thin u can hear other people casual conversation.. will pay a lot more for some place else never staying at a Wyndham owned hotel again!

The hotel is a good value which included breakfest

no rudeness, just honest. staff was fine. everything worked. breakfast was great. checkin and out no glitches. interior updated. BUT the bathroom was filthy. dirty tub urine on the toilet. I will probably never be through the area again but if I was I would rather sleep in my car.

When I booked, I requested a room with two double beds. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was given a room with one king bed. We are a family of four, therefore the room was not accomadating to my needs. I approached the front desk and was told that it couldn't be changed because of the booking engine used. Needless to say, the lady at the front desk gave us another room with a king bed, free of charge for the inconvenience. Once I entered the room, the bed was filthy. It was full of hair, the pillows had a horrible stench and the bathroom was disgusting. I am extremely disappointed for the money I spent on this room and will never stay here again!

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient to highway. Good value for the money.

The room was comfortable and very clean. However, the receptionist at the front desk was of little help. When we checked in at night, the woman seemed distracted. The front desk did not answer my call in the morning. When we went to checkout, there was no one at the desk for up to 10 minutes! Also, the shampoo and conditioner was combined into a "2-in-1," which is substandard for people with long hair. The lotion smelled pretty bad, too.

We stayed here 1 night on our way north. The hotel is right of 95 so the location is great. The room was clean and decent sized. The staff was pleasent. They did not have any portable cribs and the complimentary toiletries were minimal. It did have a free breakfast. It was adequate over all. Nothing great nothing horrific.

I want to first say that the hotel staff was very nice. However, they were understaffed. When we checked in there were no problems at all. Once I entered the room, I thought, "hey this looks nice! Fresh paint.. good" When I walked over to turn on a light by the bed I saw a huge fingernail resting on the telephone.. ICK!!! Along with that was hair and loads of dust around the lamp. I tried to not think about it, maybe the housekeeping staff chipped off her nail while working.. could have happened. I sat on the bed to rest my legs and immediately noticed that there were sains on the decorative pillow and the throw blanket at the bottom. I folded back the duvet and found mascara stains. I went to the lobby twice to ask for a blanket but she was backed up with guests every time. Last, the shower... there was obviouse mold all over the shower wall and faucet.
