Good location for the price, and happy with the room. Refrigerator, coffee maker (with coffee), microwave, and wine bottle opener in the room made things easy. No shortage of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would stay here again.
Our price included breakfast which appears to have been two packaged muffins left in the in-room refrigerator. We had options in the area and free breakfast is what tipped us over to this property. A bit disappointed.
The property was so unique. Very comfortable. Our breakfast was a Subway sandwich. Yep, a sandwich from Subway. Thought that was a bit odd. They were in the freezer and told to warm them up in the microwave.
Dirty, breakfast was something wrapped in paper in freezer? No one at checkout- left number to call and the response was "put the damn key in the envelope" Old in a not so charming way Hot even with noisy AC running Not a three star
Owner is hands on and was doing a lot of landscaping work when we were there. Rooms are old and show it in minor ways, but very clean and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen, large bathroom. Highly recommend esp for location and great value. Walking distance from downtown and 5 min drive from racetrack, museums, SPAC, etc. many restaurants within walking distance.

I showed you in the freezer there were steak, cheese and egg on Flatbread wraps from Subway. The muffins are fresh. They are in a plastic container because they have to be sealed according to the Board of Health. As you saw, there is no labels on the container; they are fresh muffins; they were not left in there; they were placed in there for you.

Why is a wrap from Subway a bad thing? It's steak and cheese in an egg wrap on a flatbread. It's delicious. You also failed to mention the fresh blueberry muffins, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and complimentary bottles of water that were in a fully equipped kitchen.

The rooms are old, this Inn was built in 1874. However, the hardwood floors are only two years old. The beds are Mattresses are temperpedic and only one year old. This is a Victorian Inn and the rooms reflect that style.
