great hotel in small town and staff is very helpfull

Very disappointed in the room. For what we paid we were expecting more. The room was from the 1950's & badly in need of an update. It was also very small. Not used to being in a room like that, I asked to be moved to one of their more modern suites. The girl at the desk was not courteous, curt and not helpful or understanding. She wanted us to pay more to move us..unacceptable. We were forced to accept what we had.. Would recommend to a friend only if they took a suite,

Clean, efficient, and spacious. The pool, with the pleasant music, was outstanding. Concierge breakfast could have been upgraded a bit, although there is a Stewarts and a Dunkin Donuts across the street, so not really necessary.

I stayed at the Roosevelt in order to take a quick little getaway and spend some time catching up on my studies. It was the perfect spot and the staff were very helpful. Pool was great!

We got upgraded to a suite and it was really nice, roomy and with a kitchen! Although the room wasn't available for an early check-in, we were allowed to use dressing room in the spa to change in, this was a life saver! Location was only a few miles from town while rates were much better than staying in town.

We stayed during the racing season and found the place to of value compared to hotels in the area. Very easy to get to the track and casino. Restaurant on grounds was closed. Rooms were nice and clean and well kept for older hotel. Minor down falls TV was OLD like Thomas Edison old they need to upgrade to HD, tough to watch the otb channel Pool indoor are health club area very clean and nice place to unwind. Staff was helpful courteous but who isn't in saratoga. All ready made reservations for next year!!

Very spacious room.10 minutes to the track. Sauna, hot tub, indoor pool were great.Lovely staff.Saved over$100 by not staying right in town. Will definitely go back.

The place was clean and nice. We checked in with ease and were welcomed. The room, however, while having a king bed, was very tiny. There was only one small work desk with one desk chair. That was it. No place for a second person to sit. The room has a microwave and fridge but where would you actually put any food to eat? Pictures and descriptions of the standard rooms show much more spacious accommodations than we were given. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple, no juice, but fine. Unfortunately there is again no place in the lobby to actually sit and eat, no tables. If we had chosen to bring the food back to the room we would have no place to eat there as well. The location is just 10 minutes from town, right off I87 so very easy to find. We did not take advantage of the pools, spa or tennis courts so we can't report on those facilities. I would recommend this place mainly due to location but check the actual room before.

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations, having only the online pictures and reviews to go by. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and appeared to be updated recently. Our room was equipped with a kitchenette, free wifi, and a very quiet heating system. The staff was friendly and responsive. The hotel provided a free continental breakfast but the hotel had no tables in the sitting area which made it awkward to prepare your food and comfortably sit to eat it. Overall, it would be great to go back in her summer to enjoy the other ammeneties!

This should be tempered by the fact that my wife and I didn't attempt to use the pool, hot tub or sauna, and that it was very much in the middle of winter. This was a fine place to stay, nothing fancy, room was clean and the location was just a bit south of Saratoga (not walking distance to downtown). It fit the bill for us though.

Very friendly staff. Clean and spacious suite with fridge and microwave. Cute little private balcony.TV's needed to be upgraded, but we weren't there to watch TV. Continental breakfast was adequate. Cute outdoor pool. Free parking. We didn't have time to use the fitness area.

Photos and description of this motel are so much better than reality; reality is disappointing. When we first arrived we were given a dark, dingy room and asked for another. The room we got was better but far from our expectations. The outdoor pool is small and practically right on the highway; the indoor pool was nice. They make a big deal out of the continental breakfast but all that includes are coffee, bagels that have seen better days, english muffins, danish and muffins that have also seen better days. We won't stay there again and we definitely would not recommend.

The Roosevelt was a great place to stay. It is right outside of the Village of Saratoga Springs and is a great value. The room we were in was actually a suite and although it was a little dated, it was nicely appointed and very clean. There were 2 huge rooma and a very large bathroom with stll shower and soaking tub. In addition there is a SPA available, and an indoor pool and health club. I will definitely stay there again.

Our saty was fabulous, the staff were great and we were upgraded to the exective suite! Loved it! We will surely stay there again!

This relatively inexpensive motel is unexpectedly spacious and comfortable. The staff is lovely. At three miles outside of town it's too far to walk but a quick drive into downtown Saratoga Springs. Clean, safe and pleasant, it's a good alternative to the pricier in-town places and far nicer than other "strip" motels. Be careful though -- the GPS is not reliable so make sure you take accurate driving directions before coming!

For a senior citizen with bad hip and back, parking was a long walk from the room. Carpets needed deep cleaning. Website touted a full-service restaurant on the premises, but Finish Line was closed down. No juice or milk (other than coffee creamer pitcher) for grandchildren children at breakfast bar. We'll go elsewhere next trip.

good clean accomodations. If you are on the first floor with occupant on 2nd you are likely to hear them walking around. enjoyable stay. great spa amenities .

Great hotel. Right off the highway on route 9. The main drag. A bit of a ride to downtown Saratoga but not a problem. It's quiet and has everything you could ask for in a hotel. The Bar is a bit outdated but ironically, it works. Vintage is a good word for it. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledge about the local surroundings. It's a quick cab ride to downtown or the race track so there's no need to drive. I traveled with some friends and next time Im bringing the whole family. I would return to this hotel without a doubt.

Room needs improvement in decor and cleanliness. Bed covers dirty, room smell like a brewery. Indoor pool nice.

The beds were comfy; the room was clean. The bath could have been cleaner but certainly not terrible. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was practically non-existent. The staff however, was fabulous!!!
