The first room smelled very moldy the second room was just moldy. The beds are very uncomfortable. The staff in the morning was much nicer than the staff was when I checked in.

Check-in was very prompt. Staff was super nice, pleasant and a pleasure to work with. Service was always with a smile. Staff was ready to accommodate any special requests.

We stayed only 2 days. That was enough. It was ok for a short stay, but not for a long time. The entrance doors were not automatic. It was difficult to struggle opening the doors with your luggage, both coming in and leaving. No bell hops to help. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The bathtub spout was loose and not secured to the wall. Breakfast was marginal, and not enough seating. Happy to leave.

If you're looking to save money & need just a basic place then this is the place.

Nice stay, staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Location was perfect for everywhere that we wanted to go. The continental breakfast bar had an abundant variety with plenty of fresh hot coffee and attentive staff to make sure tables were clean and the breakfast bar remained full. Even though we did not use the pool area it was a beautiful well kept area and the pool was big enough for a large number of swimmers. Vending machines were also readily available for those of us who need a midday snack! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

It was a good experience. We will be back next year.

My room had a wet rug that got bigger during the night. It was sticky and stained my socks. I had a running toilet during the night. I got stuck in the elevator. T.V. was not working right. I got impression that management might be the problem.

The room I was in needed some updating. I was disappointed because no one came to clean my room so I ran out of towels. The lady at the front desk gave me some clean towels.

The hotel is near many things, so that was convenient. The room was not overly clean, and the hotel is very dated. Some of the staff members were friendly. I would recommend it for the location. The breakfast offered nearly all carbohydrates. The only protein was boiled eggs and yogurt.

This whole experience started off poorly. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 knowing that check-in time was at 3:00. We were told that the suites had not been cleaned yet, and that we needed to come back. The room was clean, and comfortable, but given the area we were in and the fact that there was nothing to do around us, I felt the room was overpriced. It didn't help the fact much that our room overlooked the pool, and at 3:00 in the morning, there were a bunch of boys out by the pool carrying on and making a lot of noise. Breakfast was un-remarkable- bad muffins, and horrible coffee. And every time we went outside, we had to walk the whole way around the building to get back into the hotel because the key readers didn't work. We had trouble with getting into our room, too! While I love this particular chain of hotels, I would never return to this particular one.

This hotel was what you'd expect in this category.

This is a decent LaQuinta in Sarasota that is close to the various things and is a reasonable value. Our room was fine and the window opened towards the bay and a small inlet. Nothing spectacular but decent. A note about breakfast, the staff seems unable to understand why folks might not want only carbs so if you're looking for anything but breads, waffles, and orange juice you might need to venture elsewhere.

Staff was excellent. Probably the cleanest room I have ever stayed in.

Stopped here on our way to Siesta Key. It was good for an overnight stay.

Location is great. Enjoyed breakfast and pool. Same staff!

The hotel was convenient and cheap but there isn't much else I can say about it. It's just an average room.

Hotel was right for the price and was as pictured! Our stay was for one night to checkout the beaches which were close by!friendly staff, decent free breakfast Room was comfy ,clean and quiet on the 3rd floor, as for the location downtown that part was not pictured with sketchy people that were walking around and the homeless people at the stop lights, I have never seen a sign on the front door that says doors auto lock at sunset use your key to enter hotel Otherwise as for a newer laquinta hotel it was a nice clean hotel

Check in was quick and easy. The staff were all very friendly and my room was clean. The bed was SUPER comfortable! Wasn't a fan of the shower though.... just a tiled area with a curtain to separate it, not an actual tub/shower. I was only staying one night though, so this wasn't a big inconvenience. Breakfast was tasty and check out was quick and painless! Overall, a great short stay.

First night slept like a dream; it was perfect! Second night adjoining rooms were loud and up all night arguing, slamming doors, pounding on doors,...etc until 4:00 AM! We later learned that other quests changed rooms to avoid the problem but since we were out until 10:00 PM we didn't notice until it was to late to move in the middle of the night. Management didn't seem interested in addressing the problem with rude out of control guests so everyone else had to deal with it. Back parking lot was like some sort of pit stop; cars coming and going all hours of day and night, most of which did not appear to be guests of the hotel???? Rooms and hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Cigarette burns in room carpet.

It was heaven on earth I enjoyed my stay at LA Quinta inn
