Offered a continental breakfast. No place to sit and eat breakfast. Had to go back to the room while the food is getting cold.

Requested a smoke free bedroom with a king sized bed and booked online. We received a smoker's room with two beds and eventually got it changed but ended up paying about $15 than the online price. Staff was ok, must be tired from being there all day everyday

Excellent value for the price, location centralized, property clean and orderly and all staff very helpful. Would recommend for anyone on a budgeted stay. :)

good clean room, good location close to everything

This hotel was just fine for what I needed. I got in late and just needed a place to stay for the night. The rooms were clean on the inside from what I could tell, although the outside looks a little rough. It has a pool and ice machine and a complimentary breakfast with cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, coffee, juice, and fruit. The only suggestion that I have is that you DEFINITELY should call ahead and tell them to turn on the A/C a little BEFORE you get there. The weather was hot while I was there so I expected they would at least have the unit on low. It ended up being okay, though, because I got here, put my stuff inside, turned the a/c on high and left for about 30 minutes. It was still warm when I got there, but it cooled down over the next hour.

It's my 4th time in this hotel, because location is good and price too. But, I booked a non-smiking room, and the room beside me it was a smooking room. (insane). I felt like I was a smoker... I asked to change my room, the guy did it, but cursing me... But it's a cheap choice if you want to stay near the beach and restaurants in Lido Key.

Needed a room nearby for an interview. Hotel was nothing special, but served its purpose. The room was clean, but bed was kind of broken down. Had a fridge and microwave in room.

Convenient to the Ringling Museum which is where I was going. Staff was friendly, room was good for the price, clean and quiet. I'd stay there again.

The motel had a very musty smell. The linens smelled and upon further examination mold was discovered on walls and floor boards. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed since there were pills and other debri on the floor close to the bed. The manager didn't seem concerned and said that to turn on the A/C to help with the odor. You can not turn left ( south) out of the property so it makes it very inconvenient when trying to get to downtown Sarasota. The next closest traffic light does not permit you to make a U turn.

If you want to go to the Siesta Key Beach, only 15 minutes. If you want to go to Lido Key to have dinner, only 10 minutes. Very good location, clean, etc. I knew to many hotels in this location, if you want a DEAL, take this hotel and have a good trip.

would not recommend this for long stay............

Rooms have seen better days, and have been renovated on the cheap; but the location can't get any better--you are right around the corner from the Ringling Museum, and just a five minute drive from downtown shopping and dining, and ten minutes from the heart of Lido Key. The breakfast amenities are all in the front office, including coffee, so don't expect anything in the room other than complimentary water. Hotel staff is nice enough--best value in town if you just need a cheap room near everything.

Good home base, room was cleaned very well each day Staf was nice and helpfull

Good service

My stay al the knights Inn Sarasota was a very bad experience. I never expected the sub-standard conditions as I had to pay $200.00 more than in another hotel not as close to the hospital, I was there to visit my brother, who was in critical care. The hotel was dirty, there were bars in all windows and doors, you could not walk peacefyly outside after 7:00 PM as the street is a haven for prostitutes. The "help" was not helpful, when asked for iron, they gave me a broken one, They do not answer calls from the outside until 8:00AM, they ask for a remote code; of course, my family, or I, did not have this code. I booked the hotel for 8 days, I stayed 3, not only becase my brother died and I did not need to be near the hospital anymore, but because I could not take it any more. Oh, yes, I paid a penalty for checking out early.

windows were open in my room when i arrived, open the door to a musty smell, one electrical outlet in the whole room, no coffee maker but offer continental breakfast. coffee cups so small (4oz cups) u had to keep running back for more, the cups didnt have lids provided. when i turned on the tv all channels were snowy. decided to check out the cableline and found out it was the plug in the tv. Im glad i brought my lap top. little trouble with wifi not getting connection. overall just a place to rest ur head. needs serious upgrades!!

I was traveling alone on a Spring Training vacation. The motel was fine for my needs which were a place to stay, A wide selection of TV stations in the evening, and a decent continental breakfast in the morning. It is a basic motel with few frills but an excellent value for the price. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and courteous.

Quiet and comfortable stay. The only problem was an odd insistency by the staff on cleaning the room on the second day.

We changed to Knights Inn from another motel because it is cleaner and friendlier. The staff is very responsive to the needs of the visitor.

we visited family in sarasota, and rotonda, went to the beach, and ringling museum. the motel location was convenient for us and we woud us this place again.
