Days Inn Sarasota Bay

Stayed closer to airport to have easy access in the AM. Nothing special to report... Days Inn expectations and results

Unwelcoming to customers. Will not let you enter the lobby if you check in late. You have to go to a side window. All this after per-paying for my room. Poor hospitality. Don't waste your money here.

Very clean well kept room. No complaints. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Easy access to local area

This is an average Holiday Inn, close to Ringling home, museum, college and downtown Sarasota. Depending on traffic it is about 15 minutes from St. Armand's Circle. It is very much like other Holiday Inns I have stayed.

We booked through orbitz & watched others check in at at least $10 - $15 more directly thru hotel. Hotel was VERY CLEAN THROUGHOUT. Room had king bed, floors tiled nicely & spotless. Shower clean & very nice shower head. Refrig & microwave CLEAN & Working! Towels, bed clean & folded. We did not swim but looked at pool from balcony & it was also VERY CLEAN. parking lot was being redone & we were able to park up near building with our motorcycle. Breakfast simple but good . Hotel was about 15 mins from Seista Key. Check in was quick & easy & desk clerk very nice. Maids polite. The only problem was we were by the elevator & heard it a lot as people come & go. I would definitely return to this hotel. I d say the Best Days Inn I've ever been too, possibly the best Hotel I've ever been too.

Close to the beach and main roads. Hotel was nice and convenient

The hotel had a water pipe repair happening when we checked in. We wanted tacos so the receptionist referred us to Fuzzy's Tacos. It was delicious. By the time we returned the water was back on and all was well with the rest of our stay.

Front desk could be a little moody at times..other than that, everything was great...right up until it was time to check out. I was harassed by no less than 3 house keepers plus front desk about checking out, and that was BEFORE eleven o'clock.

We greatly appreciated their late night check-in as both of our flights were delayed and we didn't arrive until after midnight. We were exhausted from a long day of travel and were thrilled to climb into bed without issue. The staff we had contact with were fine. The housekeepers were pleasant. We stayed for a week at this hotel. The decor could definitely use some updating. I really didn't like that there wasn't a fan in the bathroom. What I really didn't appreciate was the fact that we paid for 2 king size rooms. My husband and I were pleased with our room. We even had a sofa and coffee table. However, our daughters' room was much smaller, too small really for a king size bed. There just wasn't much room for walking around. I don't understand how they could rightfully charge us the same rate for a room that was nearly half the size.

Front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Easy checking in and out.

Staff was very nice. Motel has been updated and it's very nice. We ate the complimentary breakfast several times during our 13 day stay and it was good. Cleaning staff did a good job. We will return.

Ok for a quick, cheap stay. Gets the job done.

this was a nice motel to stay at everything was the latest appliances, flat screen tv, instead of a tube type, washer and dryer, nice pool, continental breakfast was a plus, great location, room and bed was very comfortable too. will stay there again next time i come to Sarasota.

Was available to us for a reservation without advance payment. Breakfast mostly bread stuffs with yoghurt and cereals. Good coffee and juice. Great hot shower. Superior bed!

Practical and clean. nice and convenient hotel, clean room, friendly staff.

It was nice quite not enough towels pillows where to small had to get more

Everything at the hotel was fine, the breakfast and the staff. The location is nice also, nice pool and quiet area.... The only thing I would like help with is the FACT they took my deposit of $20 but never gave it back to me, I forgot to ask for it when I checked out but I called back and the Mgr. tells me that if customers forget the deposit than that means they forfeit the money!! I was like WhAT?!>!?!&&^^!& what do you mean you forfeit?? Days Inn is suppose to be a huge hotel chain that doesn't have any need to be robbing people of $20 !! This is ridiculous, she tells me then she would have to speak with hotel owners and since they're on vacation it would have to wait till next week to do so..... PLS HELP ME WITH THIS

I stayed only one night. Got there super late was no problem. Room was clean and ready. The only thing that i can complain is that the elevator was not working propertly (hotel has 3 floors). Breakfast was good.

Towels were wet still, food left in the refrigerator from previous guests. And there was a mildew smell. Never again

They didn't have my reservation and had no rooms available.

We thank you for coming. We apologize for any unwelcoming feeling you may have had. Any store, etc that is manned by one person after certain hours is a county ordinance.

We thank you for your delightful feedback on your stay. We are pleased to know that our location was a great fit for your family's travel plans. The city had a water pipe/main break and they attempted to fix in due time but we greatly appreciate your patience in a situation that is out of our control at the hotel. We look forward to your family's return stay.

We are pleased to know that you were able to enjoy the fresh landscaping. The complimentary breakfast is a required menu. We have taken some suggestions to have a limited time addition of some select items. The bathrooms do have exhaust fans which are quiet comfort fans located on the roof; having individuals fans are nice, however, could be noisey to other adjoining guestrooms. We have several different guestroom selections. At any time during your stay if you were dissatisfied with one of the guestrooms, we would have been more than happy to change the room to an available room of your liking, but without being informed, it makes the concern with the comfort of the guestroom hard to improve. The pool is situated near trees and natural encounters hence if there was wind or natural events, there could be a possibility of leaves just as any other standing pool of water. We do have many projects coming up, so stayed tuned for even more improvements.
