We had a great getaway at the beach, and the hotel looks like it was stopped in time. It has a cabin feeling and look, that we really enjoyed.
Loved this place! A smaller older hotel but so wonderful. The place was very clean and had the essentials for a short stay. Very friendly staff! Right on the beach my room was a 50 ft walk to the beach. Slept on the deck 1 night listening to the waves. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

Awesome location, private beach, comfortable beds, clean room, dog friendly! But only issues is the balcony needs repair for safety and the property just needs to tlc. Overall great stay
On the beach, appreciated the shade structure on the beach. Easy walking distance to the County Park and to downtown St. Armands.

Our family found this property very charming! The property is definitely dated but I felt that is what made it so charming; had a beach cottage vibe! Maintenance man and housekeeping were very friendly and ask us often if we needed anything. It was a tad pricey but it is location, location and this place nailed it on location!
Not overly flashy like the nearby resorts. Which was fine by us! Low key spot right on the beach, affordable, and clean. Only stayed a night but could definitely see coming back for a solid week.

I am used to 4-stars and above, large international chains, etc. This bears no resemblance, but I can't think of a better place to stay. Built in the 50s and refurbished a decade or so ago, it is unmistakably old and old fashioned. But it is clean and well run. We had two rooms poolside, just a few steps from the beach and the Gulf. Sitting under the overhang on my patio listening to the Gulf and reading was so peaceful. Great sunsets. Loved having the small kitchen for simple breakfasts. If you need fancy modern design, stay elsewhere, but if you want a taste of real Florida, here it is.

we had a leak in the bathroom ceiling. There were ants in our room. Hotel was taken over by a certain group of Hispanics staying at this hotel. Large burner on stove did not work. Unable to sleep due to noise level.
