The shower did not worked. The valve did not turn on.

Good buy, good location, comfortable stay. Staff was very good.

First thing I saw was 3 locks on the door. Made me very nervous to stay there. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights house keeping made my bed once. They did take out the garbage but that was about it. Weather stripping was missing on the bottom of the door. There were ants and other bugs in the room. I actually got two bug bites on my face. Don't recommend.

This is also a working man's extended stay facility so it was noisier than expected, but more than adequate for our needs' which basically required a room to stay overnight after eye surgery at SMH. Very convenient to the hospital and overnight needs.

Poor wiring; smoke detector made a "fizzle" sound in the first and second room we tried. Musty and damp rooms with refrigerators that did not keep food at a safe temperature in either room that we tried. Morning staff barged in without any warning.....uhgh...not coming back.

This is an older property but is in a good area of the city.

Surprisingly nice. Noisy AC unit but found a way to quit.

I've seen and stayed at worse places. OK place for the cost. Seems this area has either $100 or $600 hotel rooms. Location is good, right next to a great piano lounge with fabulous food, located in a plaza (forget restaurant name right at the moment). Just there for one night. Rooms were clean enough but hotel could use some updating. Supposed to have a queen size bed and was told that it was a room with two queens but in reality the beds were full size.....not at all the same.

older hotel in the heart of sarasota. close to everything for night life but a little far from the beach.

This place was ok, but it was in a strip mall. The parking lot was noisy right outside the door.

Great location, close to the beach and restaurants (3 miles or less). Has a Starbucks and a Win Dixie across the street, too. Rooms on the first floor might have a humid odor and cockroaches. The second floor is cleaner. The hotel looks old, doesn't have too much curb appeal: rooms bathrooms and beds seem to have been updated but doors, windows and everything else looks original. Pillows are terrible. It's 30-40 more expensive than Super8 but the experience was mostly the same.

I found the staff to be helpful, the location perfect and generally adequate for my needs. They were doing some repairs and giving it a facelift at the time I was there. I was visiting family in Sarasota, and I will stay again when I come back in the future.

I got a great deal - $20 per night cheaper than the rack rate. The place was probably a former motel as all the doors to the rooms open to the outside. As a result I had a small unwelcome guest of the 6-legged variety with a brown exoskeleton for 2 nights. He didn't make it through the third. Next time I'll be staying at a hotel where all the doors are inside. But, overall they do a good job - the rooms are well-serviced, the breakfast is bountiful, the location is great, and the staff are pleasant.

Nice older property, well kept. Great mid-town location close to everything. I would stay there again considering the room price which was a good value and the location. Nice breakfast served at no charge

Not far from lido key and 2 min away from Main Street .

The hotel was average. For the price on a Labor Day holiday I can't complain. Close to lido beach about 8 min drive and about 5 min away from downtown Main Street where they have alot of resturants and bars. The room was clean , however the tv volume went out. I called the front desk and it was fixed. Also there was a lamp that did not work . The hotel is not by any means fancy, but its great if you r looking for somewhere to sleep while u spend the day out on the beach or around the town. Location is good and price is good!

Holes in the sheets, stinky carpet, the cleaning staff only takes out garbage and just leaves everything else dirty. Overall, the room was spacious and the hotel is 5 mins from all the main tourist attractions.

My husband and I enjoyed being in this hotel last weekend but it was missing a microwave and small fridge

My family and I came to Sarasota to visit friends and to go to the beach. Although my wife has been to Sarasota, our family has not. The room was nice, the beds were really good, but could be a little more comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was much better than most we have experienced. The dining area was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant. We did not take advantage of the pool due to rain. I would highly recommend this motel to my friends.

Spacious, comfortable room -- and clean -- at a great price.
