Our stay at Skyfall Suites exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, clean, the staff was friendly and always willing to help and provide recommendations/make reservations for us. It is also conveniently located to a bus stop and the quaint town of Pyrgos (also home to the best bakery we found in Santorini).
Absolutely loved this place! I can't say for sure Skyfall is better than those absurdly-priced properties in the likes of Oia or Imervigoli, but I don't see how it's not right on par with the best Santorini has to offer. The big price drop - a BIG plus - obviously comes from an off-the-beaten-track location, however I found Pyrgos to be wonderful and peaceful spot to base oneself in the island - and not all that far away from the island's renowned sights. This is especially true if you have your own vehicle to conveniently get to popular hubs like Fira or the aforementioned Oia. Speaking of Oia, I would find it quite irritating staying there considering all the tourist traffic that comes through the village. You won't get that in Pyrgos - and especially at Skyfall, where I didn't see one guest outside of reception during my two days in a gorgeous Junior Suite! With that said, I certainly hope to return to Skyfall someday, and I would encourage anyone looking for reasonably priced luxury accommodation (by Santorini standards) to strongly consider staying here...
This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in our lives! Honestly, the peaceful quite surroundings make this a perfect relaxing place to stay, but thats just the beginning! We really wish we could have stayed here our entire vacation. The minute we arrived, everything was ultra ready and prepared for us. Super clean and immaculate room. I am very picky with cleanliness, but I was so impressed with how clean this place was. Instantly shed layers of stress walking into a beautiful white and modern room with the amazing and vast view. Then to have the wonderful hotel hospitality treat of a bottle of wine and local cheeses, was the cherry on top! Every meal was delicious and so well prepared. Loved, loved having the beautiful breakfast spread, which kept us full for a long time. Both dinners that we ordered for room service were amazing! I am super grateful for the care that went into every aspect of our stay here! The only two things that I would say could be improved was, 1-the temperature of the hot tub. I found it a little cooler than normal as I like my hot tub water pretty hot. 2-maybe a shelf storage or bench in the walk-in shower just to place toiletry items away from the floor would be a nice touch. All in all, totally and overly satisfied with everything. We will be back!!!
