disappointing

Everyone

Booked this room with the hopes that it would meet the familiar "La Quinta" brand standards. It did not. Observations as follows: check in: fast/easy check-in only 2 handicap parking spaces located near behind the front entrance (further away than the regular parking spaces in front). Of the two spaces, an SUV without ANY Disabled placard/tags occupied one of the spaces for the entire night (which means that if I had time to observe, then the hotel staff had time to observe). room: beds and pillows were very hard - so uncomfortable. Not quality firm mattress, but stiff/hard - felt like sleeping on cardboard. room walls were covered in dirty hands/footprints. Seriously. Housekeeping should make and effort to wipe them down when dirt is that obvious. shower was decent, with adequate pressure - but the toiletries are seriously lame. Itty, bitty shampoo/conditioner combo. Meh. general: a big upside, this hotel lets you bring pets without an additional charge (you do have to tell them though). This is terrific for travelers that need to bring their pets - however, like rowdy guests, pets should be expected to keep the noise down. Barking at 3am is never appreciated. free breakfast had lots of options (kid friendly), including protein items like eggs/bacon vs just breads/muffins. staff was very friendly.

truly pet friendly

Everyone

Stayed pne night here on our way from Texas to California. We have a cat and she was welcomed for free. We brought a disposable litter box so we asked for a large trash bag at the front desk once we were ready for check out. Everything went smoothly. Free breakfast included. The room was nice and cozy.

The breakfast want as great as reviews posted and the breakfast area wasn't cleaned up when we went to eat. Other than that it was fine for an overnight stay.

comfortable and convenient

Couples

Although this an older La Quinta it appeared to recently remodeled. The room was comfortable and clean. The decor appeared to be recently redecorated and new. Mattresses seemed new a very comfortable. Over all I was extremely pleased with the experience. Also the breakfast was more than adequate with more choices than most. Location is right off the highway without the noise.

very nice 2q std was roomy pool nice n warm

Families

We had 2 Q regular room. It was very roomy. Had fridge and microwave. Pool was nice and warm. The hot tub was out of order but was outside in a beautiful little rock garden setting. They could not honor the request for an extra bed - this was an amenity offered on the 2Q bed reservation page - they said it was a fire code restriction. Makes sense but they should not have offered the option. We stayed on 1st floor, saw temporary signs for stairs to 2nd floor. Did not see elevators.
