Wyndham Santa Monica At The Pier

I was disappointed that the room I had reserved, a King Size bed, was not what we got when we arrived at nearly 4 am after calling to let the hotel that we would be checking in around that time. Instead, we were granted a room with two full size beds. While I was disappointed and feel like we should have been granted a discount for the inconvenience, which was not offered, the staff was great and had us moved while we were out about visiting the town once we woke up and were ready to start the day.

Everything was great. Close to pier and 3rd Street shopping and restaurants

Had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed the mall, located directly across the street.

Great place to stay for the price of the room that included breakfast with our booking. The breakfast options were wonderful and the food was very good. The staff at the desk, notably Alan, were very friendly and took time to give us options about what to do with our day. We were a family of 4 with 2 college aged kids.

The young lady that checked us in was awesome and super kno knowledgeable about the surrounding bars and restaurants, I'm planing on coming back

Paid for full ocean view only partial view, room TV wasn't working properly, loud vent all night long old hotel ,$43.00 to park overnight and your staying at the hotel really sucks...

I paid for an ocean view room. I purposesly selected one on the orbitz site and paid for the upgrade in advance. There are no ocean room view rooms. I addressed this with management and they were very dismissive. They confirmed at the desk that they do not have ocean view rooms.

Very nice and clean except too many outdoor street resident.;) Good location close to shopping area in walking distance. I had breakfast there very good and large portion, but a little pricy.

I'm a local who had a couple friends in town (husband wife) and we stayed here on the last night of their trip for a fun night out. Stay in any hotel in this area other than this one and you'll have a better experience. You have to walk through the garage and down a set of stairs to get to the pool. No jacuzzi. The overnight parking is overpriced. Just park across the street in the adjacent parking structure. Pool is cold, not heated, and becomes shady early in the afternoon. Pool is outdated and old looking as well. For $150 more we could have stayed at the Viceroy and I was kicking myself for not doing so because we spent well over that difference spending money outside the hotel just so we didn't have to be in it. They were using utility fans and left doors open in hallways instead of using air conditioning. This hotel is far too overpriced to even be in competition with the other smaller boutique hotels in the area or the other higher end ones. Do yourself a favor and stay further from the beach for cheaper or price up to a better quality hotel. Very mediocre. Very NORMAL. Nothing fancy or different or enchanting about this hotel. I've stayed in Holiday Inn and Best Westerns that had more personality.

Staff was great , but management clearly not paying attention to details ( alarm clock , bathroom fixtures, pool temp)

A bit skeptical after reading the reviews but found the hotel better than expected. Rooms are not fancy - however, they were clean, quiet and comfortable. Pool is underwhelming and since it is off the parking garage not appealing. The front desk and concierge were helpful and friendly. Parking at $39 per day is high but that is paying for convenience. No problems with hotel; however, we did not enjoy the Santa Monica area due to aggressive panhandlers, constant solicitation on 3rd Street Promenade and average Boardwalk.

I certainly did not like the fact that I had to pay for the car park. Over all it is a very nice place to stay, friendly staff.

Very good! I loved the location and the staff was great! I didn't like that there was a charge per day for parking that should be included with the room rental!

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the hotel since there were very mixed reviews about the place. But overall, I was very pleased! The hotel lobby was a bit smaller than expected and but the rooms were spacious and clean. The maids came by everyday with fresh towels and made our beds. However, the best part of this experience was definitely the location!!! It was located right in front of the Santa Monica Pier and was in the perfect walking distance to third street shopping centers. It was awesome being able to explore Santa Monica without a car because it's a beautiful place with amazing weather. Only complaint would be that there are some strange people who are hanging around the Santa Monica area so you should be cautious with smaller children.

This Hotel was Simply The BEST Hotel I have stayed in. The Staff Member are so NICE and professional. The Hotel Manger Jay was about the most welcoming and professional person there.

Convenient to everything in Santa Monica. Nice size room for two. Staff were helpful.

Location: Pretty Good Room: Good Pool: Surprise!! It is above the Hwy :) Better go to the beach. They should work on blocking the highway noise. Staff: Nice and helpful.

Within walking distance to anything and everything you can need. Great shopping, food, and coffee near by. Perfect location for anyone who loves being at the beach and being active. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly!

Great location to visit all the attractions Santa Monica offers, food, shopping, beach and entertainment. Booked the vacation package and thought I was getting a good deal for a weeks stay with a family of 4, but they only offer valet parking at 36.00 a night. 5 nights cost me $180.00. They offer public valet parking for $10!

Nice hotel right near the beach on Beautiful Santa Monica. A short walk to the beach, stores, restaurants and the exciting vibe of Santa Monica.
