An old Mallorcan house situated in the valley of Colonya, a beautiful enclave surrounded by mountains and with views of fields of centenary olive trees and other trees native to the island of Mallorca. The access to the house, from the village of Pollensa, runs along a narrow road that runs along different estates, among which several historical possessions (old Mallorcan estates) stand out.
The house has been carefully renovated during the winter of 2020, with special emphasis on preserving the old traditional elements such as the exposed stone walls and wooden beams on the ceilings, while giving the interiors a more contemporary and modern character. Among the most important improvements to the house, all the interior floors have been completely renovated, as well as the kitchen and bathrooms. New, modern lighting has also brightened up all the rooms.
The main entrance of the house gives access to a spacious hallway, equipped with a table and chairs for its function as an indoor dining room. This leads to a large fully equipped kitchen, which still conserves the old fireplace (currently disabled) typical of the old Mallorcan houses.
On the ground floor there is also a large leisure room where you can play a game of table football, or sit on the comfortable sofas and enjoy films on the impressive 65-inch screen. The smart TV is equipped with wireless internet connection so guests can enjoy their Amazon, Netflix and other platforms.
Also from the hallway and through an interior stone archway we can access a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower.
From the hall a staircase leads to the upper floor where the other bedrooms are located: two double rooms with twin beds sharing a full bathroom, another double room with twin beds and an en-suite bathroom and two more double rooms with twin beds, which share another bathroom with shower.
It is worth mentioning that the house has different configurations for the beds, some of which can be converted into double beds (always on request), allowing the distribution of the house to have 3 double beds and 3 twin beds.
Outside the house there are spacious terraces with different atmospheres where you can enjoy an outdoor dinner during the hot summer months or where you can also enjoy an aperitif or a few drinks while contemplating the beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. On one side of the terrace we will also find a practical barbecue ideal for those who love barbecues.
The terrace has also been extended in the pool area to provide more space and comfort in the hammock area and to be able to enjoy a good rest on the Balinese bed. The swimming pool has also been completely renovated and has a Roman staircase.
The exterior also has a completely renovated toilet so that guests can use it without having to access the interior of the house. The laundry room is located in the adjoining room.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the house has free internet connection via Wi-Fi (with several repeaters to have internet in all the rooms) and pool towels.
