Holiday Inn Express Santa Fe Cerrillos

I had a window that wouldn't lock. Of course I discovered this about 10pm. I contacted the front desk and he immediately came up with a board to wedge the window shut. The next day I was out for the day. When I returned, maintenance had installed a permanent window stop. I also had issues with my hair dryer. I think the maintenance man was at my door within 2 minutes to assess that problem. Very accommodating staff.

Great, nice people in the hotel desk--very friendly.

the room was clean, the front desk staff was friendly, the pool was refreshing, and the breakfast was way better than most.

I travel a lot and always end up at a Holiday Inn or an Holiday Inn Express. This was by far one of the worst places I have stayed at to date. We received a call in the middle of the night from the staff the first night asking if the service was okay and whether we needed a wake up call. The hallways smelled of paint from all the paint buckets on the side of the wall next to the elevator. I received and immediate headache from all the paint vapors. The rooms smelled of musk and mold. The bathroom had peeling wallpaper with two settings on the shower head that sprayed too hard. The shower had grim on the inside of the shower wall and floor. Every time I entered the room my nose clogged up and I could hardly breath. I don't believe they actually cleaned the room or vacuumed the floors. I brought my two dogs with me and paid the service fees of $15 per night. My daughter washed her Chihuahua in the bathtub that morning and when we returned that evening the front desk said they needed to charge us an additional fee for the wet dog smell because the housekeeper claimed the smell was too much. We did not pay for the apparent additional fee they claimed was necessary and the wet dog smell wasn't even there when we got back. Instead I insisted they used cleaning supplies and clean the room like they are supposed to. Over all the service was the horrible. The room was an allergy nightmare. The only good thing was the breakfast station.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The furniture needs updating. The staff was friendly.

All was good, my third stay there this year! I do recommend the Holiday Inn Express.

Room very nice. Food good. Trouble with the internet, but responsive to correcting. Out of soap in the laundry room, but Walgreen's nearby to purchase more. This my second stay, and I have made another reservation.

I've stayed here before and wasn't really surprised. Santa Fe's hotels aren't always the nicest. This one was carpet worn and a little smelly. The AC was weak but OK at night. I hope they spend some money and fix it up soon - but all in all it was pretty par for a hotel on Cerrillos rd. I travel for business.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a lot of knowledge of area. If you didn't want to drive downtown, the bus pickup was just outfront. Room was about average, in need of some updating.

Greeted by nice people, clean comfortable room. dining facilities near by. shopping near by.

No flat screen TV which has become pretty standard now. Bathtub was uneven so it was a little unsteady. I like Holiday Inn Express so I'll stay there again for all the other advantages of great staff and great location near the airport.

It was fine. That is all I can say. I stayed the previous night at Holiday Inn Express in Gallup and had a fantastic room! This was.... fine.

Overall it was mediocre. The lobby and hallways were dark and uninviting. Check in staff were friendly and helpful but a friend of staff blocked the unloading zone when we tried to check out.

Every thing about our stay was good, except the business center was very warm, no cool air, probably something that could be corrected if mentioned to the hotel. Breakfast bar was provided, lots of choices. A short drive or bus from downtown.

The stay was comfortable. The breakfast choices were much better than I would have expected.

Uncomfortable bed, scratchy towels, in-room heating unit that brings in the outside air filled with pinon smoke plus a TV remote that didn't work = wished we had booked at a different hotel. The breakfast was mediocre: hot food was lukewarm, cold drinks were lukewarm.

Room was decent, but the bathroom floor would have benefitted from a good scrubbing - especially in the corners (weeks of debris in the corners by the tub). Breakfast buffet was well maintained.

Clean and quiet. Sort drive to historic plaza.

This hotel was in a very convenient place in town: Only about 5-10 minutes to down down and about 30-45 minutes to the ski area and casinos. The rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was a great deal. They even have a pancake maker which I had never seen before! Over-all I am very satisfied for a chain hotel and will consider using this hotel again in my future travels.

Everything went smooth from the get-go until check-out. Even the complimentary hot breakfast was surprisingly good. The beds were comfy and the a/c units worked great and were not noisy. The Holiday Inn Express staff was very good. The place needed a hot-tub by the pool and that would've been very nice.
